    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone having problems with emails coming from subscribed threads lately? I havent been getting any recent ones lately. I am not sure if I switched a setting, or, was it an update.
 
Had not noticed but will keep a look out. Thanks for the heads-up Dean. I did get a notice this morning about a thread reply.
 
I have been getting the emails for the subscribed threads. I actually just got one at 7:09 so it appears to be working on mine.
 
I got a couple this morning too but not one since like 10:30 and there have been tons of updated threads. They seem sporatic at best right now.
 
I just got an email that someone had responded to this thread. So it is sporatic if there is an issue.
 
I have subscribed threads in several forums and email notifications are definitely hit and miss. I assume it is just the way it is with email in general right now, and quite likely nothing at all that a forum admin can do about it. Spam, and the defenses against it, have pretty much made email a rather unreliable medium for correspondence.
