    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

im going away this summer for about a week what should i do so that the gecko can stay alive while im away? should i load up a wide dish with meal worms? or what.

If you are only going for a week (7 days) feed him very well before you go and pull all water,food out while you are gone.If he is in good shape he will be fine.Or find someone to water and feed while you are gone.I wish i could take 7 days off,i am lucky to get 3 days off in a row.

Why would you pull out his water?, and why would it be bad to leave a dish of mealies? Not trying to be rude I just don't understand.

The water can grow stuff that can be bad for the gecko.I change all gecko waters after 3 days.You could fill a dish with worms,but you do not need to.A healthy gecko can go a week with out food.

Okay I'll say Duh now. Makes perfect sense expressially since I have one little boy that poops in his water bowl 2-3 times a week no matter where I move it to. I guess when you stay up all night every night, the brain kinda fries on you. But what can you do, gotta make a living and right now it's the graveyard shift.
