In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sunny day today

Went outside and took some pics.

Here is my first baby of the season from tangerine albinos X SHTCT

Here is an updated pic of the "weird-tail" baby. I got another baby from this pairing. The tail is the same... So probably all offspring from this pairing will be small tails. This is weird because the female is at her 3rd year of breeding and never thrown any of these. The male is a first year breeder. I suspect the male. The pairing is Tangerine albinos(directly from Ron Tremper) X Red stripe (directly from HQReptiles). Anyway here is the baby.

And just for fun, Hyglo female. She lost a bit of colors due to breeding season but she's still great!

I am sure I am not speaking for myself when I say you should not breed that male anymore and you should not breed the offspring even if they do not show that tail trait....

That is an obvious genetic defect and it is certainly not something serious breeders would want to propagate in their collections....

I already knew that i'm not that stupid. But thanks anyway.

Simon, that's a bit uncalled for. Gregg was just voicing (politely I might add) what others are thinking. This post did contain new info not found in the other. Keeping the gene pool as clean as possible is of great concern to a lot of people, and it stands to reason people would voice that concern when something genetic like this pops up. Try not to take it personally.

I do not take it personaly, we already talked about all the genetic question behind those hatchlings, are many of you agreed that I should not breed these geckos. I completly agree with you on this point.

This thread was just to show updates pics of geckos, not to be warned again not to breed these geckos.

anyway thanks Sandy for the nice comments! I appreciate.

Sorry, I guess I cant voice my thoughts to your "generation" of breeders.... :hehe: LOL.... Get off your high horse and learn to take some criticism.... I can say what I feel on any thread....

Me too! :uhh:

The problem is you seem to critices often but hey no problem. Thanks for the nice comments Gregg! I appreciated ;)

I think the short tail is kinda cute! as long as you dont pass if off as a regrown tail. Maybe you could make a line of stub-tailed gekos! lol kinda like Manx cats :) but I can totally see where they wouldnt want the trait in the general population. The long tails are more elegant.

Nice looking leos any road.
