sorry I missed most of the chat, so whats a super so how was it made and does anyone have a photo?

I had to leave early and I must have missed this too. A super snow, now that sounds cool! I bet it’s a snow that’s pure white…:shrug01:

I saw some for sale at the Anaheim show. I forget who had them, but I think they were labeled as some sort of co-dominant morph with the "super snows" being homozygous animals. They had normal amounts of spotting on a white background. The heterozygotes were like very light pastels; similar to B grade snows. I think that the hets were something like $250 and the supers were something like $500. The supers also seemed to all be jungles; they looked like reverse stripes, but the pattern had broken up so much and so many spots had come in that it was hard to tell.

I think it tells about them on Ron Trempers website under future projects. I think they are Snow Albinos. All white with red eyes maybe similar to a Blazing Blizzard. Check out his site I also cant get over that purple eyed albino he has cant wait for them to come out.

Man again

I told you they ain't no photos on future projects I want to see them but they ain't there so why you teling me they are? he said using patternless gene PAs aren't knew

I didnt say there was a photo. Ive never seen one either though. If anyone does can you post a picture? Why dont you email Ron and ask to see a pic? Using the Patternless Gene it doesnt say just a Patternless Albino so again it is NEW. A SNOW ALBINO using a PATTERNLESS GENE. So it is all White with Red Eyes. Ive been hearing about them for a while but they might not be hitting the market anytime soon. I think your best bet would be to ask Ron to see a pic. Sorry if you misunderstood be when I said it TELLS about them on Rons website, you are right there are no photos. There is a pic of the Purple eyed albino under Pictorial though.

I just do not understand the logic about the red and blue makes purple so it is possible to make an albino with a blue body...... What does eye color have to do with body color???? And where does the blue come in????? Still trying to figure that one out......

One of my Tremper's has purple eyes sometimes. Look closely at this pic. It looks a lot like Ron's.......? Maybe I'm wrong.........

Nice leo Matt. It does appear to have purple eyes. Can you get a closer pic? Do you have any others with the same eye color?I think an albino with purple eyes is awsome. I have never seen any for sale though. Where did you get yours from? Let us know if it produces any purpled eyed albinos. Is eye color a recessive trait?

Her eyes do change colors. When they are completely dilated they have more of a pinkish/purple color, But when her pupils close up they turn purple. This picture doesn't really prove anything, but I can't get a good close up and use the flash....... :(. Her full blood sister has the same eyes, however her half sister and half brother don't........... They are more pinkish gray. This girl and her sister came from a gecko produced by Ron Tremper (Unicorn of A&Mgecko) There dad was Drago of A&Mgecko. Drago's mom was Unicorn (produced by Ron), Drago's dad was another Giant (produced by Ron). The color's of the eyes must have something to do with their genes because........ Both of the full blood sisters have them, but neither of their parents did....... Well, I have never seen Drago in person, but Unicorn doesn't have the same eyes.

Ron has not sold any geckos with purple eyes (to my knowledge), but he has probably sold geckos that carry the genes.

Matt

Ooops, here's the picture

again, doesn't really prove anything, but the previous picture is accurate.

John Mack of reptiles by mack has the snows and super snows.Snows are all jungle looking white and some yellow $750.00 start.Super Snows are all white with the blacking spotting forums stripes down the body start at $1500.00.
There will be a new leopard gecko book comming out real soon,i saw the book for the first time this weekend and i will be selling this new book. The snow and super snow are in it as for a few new ones too.

Hey Jodi, does John Mack have a site?

So you got to see the new book? Thats pretty cool. I got an email from RT saying it'll be out early next year. So snows/supers are in it? I wanna see these guys.

Michael

This is from his ad in the NARBC Book. I also got an email from Ron telling about the new book. I cant wait to see some of the new stuff. You can give John a call and ask him to email you some pics of what he has . Ive never talked with him but I would think if he doesnt have a site he would be happy to help you out. Who knows maybe youll like them so much that you end up getting one or even a pair. But for $1500 they would have to be some killer leos.

The book i am talking about is NOT the same book as Ron Trempers. The one i am talking about is at the print shop right now.I hope to have it for sale in a month or two.I wish i could say more ,but was asked not to sorry.

those are old pics on rons site some of them

his site describes 2 different white albinos , blue albinos , carrothead jungle giant (blue and orange ) which they are not blue!!!! lol and red and WHITE , and super hypo snow albinos ! no pictures !!!! i was told by ron his patternless is a different gene than blizzard or patty!! about super snows i think that is super hypo (ghost) X Snow and in rons case Xalbino too! TUG had "snows" they claim to be co-dom ... which if so there would have to be "super-snows" and "snows" much like "super-hypo" and "hypo" ! SUPER GIANT ? MOOSE ANYONE ? lol

as i posted before i was told ron had found the gene for red eyes !

i know someone who has a blue -eyed albino ... and i have a "purple eyed" jungle carrot head ! red and blue are possible so why not purple !! HAS nothing to do with body color !! rons" blue albino" project as he told me comes from a tangerine w/ a BIG patch of blue and purple right in the middle of her tail ( i saw a picture of the tail only lol ) i guess MAYBE ron thought he didnt release any "purple-eyed" albinos or was feeling generous ! brice logan @ evergreenreptiles.com has a blue-eyed albino on is breeder page ! trempers description on his website saying everything will have "red eyes" did not say that 6 months ago , he told me he "thinks he may' have found a red eye gene " and 2 months later updated that page i noticed , he did NOT say if it was recessive , but we see what happened with giants being that way !
