    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think some people here on Fauna need to get 'voted off the island'. These are the ones that we would all like to see just go away, yet somehow manage not to get any points from the MODS to get banned permanently. They are NOT team players and serve no purpose on Fauna except to drag down the majority of us who just want a great place to come and interact with fellow herpers.

What do you think?

I think I will veto any such plan as this. This would be WILDLY subjective and subject to abuse by any group of people who decide to take a dislike to any one person. As long as any member follows the rules here, they have every right to post what they want, just as everyone else does.

This site is NOT a democracy. Meaning that 51 percent of the members cannot vote to kill and eat the other 49 percent.
 
Marcia: this is the funniest thread I've seen in a long time, I've had a long day and laughed out loud in my clinic when I read your post.
While I agree that it can't be done, and on some thought all of us might agree that the risks implicit in such an endeavor might mean that each of us would possibly get booted for innocent activity, the thought is just delicious.
 
OK, OK...you got me and I'll bite, who is # 16?

What about "American Idol" aren't you tired also of how this guy Simon addresses the participants? Although I don't watch the show my 16 year old daughter does, and everytime I walk by he is saying something nasty or finding something wrong in nearly all of them...He seems to think he is a big shot using fancy words and that "accent". From what I have heard he was amusing at the start but it appears the audience is getting tired of him.

Your daughter is watching and it is the #1 rated show for the week whenever it airs ! The Superbowl will top it this week, but it will have taken the Super Bowl to do it.

Back to topic, with the "majority" voting off the "minority". Hypothetically of course, but any bets on how long it will take until its down to just two people, and one must then kill the other ?
