Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy swampbillys a scam?

So im talking to a friend and he tells me im getting all those venomous from swampbilly1986, and directly afterwards i talk to another friend in another state saying he has sent him a check and is waiting on this guy to send him
the snakes. So i call him swampbilly and ask him if the snakes are still available and he tells me yes but its first come first serve.If its first come first serve and he has the one friends check why hasent he shipped yet. He cant produce pics. He tells one friend that David Weathers (who needs no introduction) is taking care of these animals .I look his name up on shhs and on fauna and his name is Justin Gallimore but his wife or maybe his mother? says his name Dustin Drant
These are the snakes he"s supposedly selling
2 black mambas/3 bothrops asper/4 mojave rattlesnakes/kingbrown/
king cobra/coral cobra/e.diamondbacks/jamesons mamba/and of coarse hes gonna through in a bushmaster (but not sure what kind)all for 900$
Unfortunetly all this took place over the phone /no emails and such
but i thought it important to bring it to light
It just goes to show if it sounds too good its probably a scam

That should have been the first red flag
The check has been stopped .No harm has been done
He made it like he needed the money/my loss is your gain thing
My intentions for this thread is to bring this whole ordeal to light
 
These allegations are totally false. The snakes have already been bought and the gentleman is getting them. I said that i know David Weathers. There are no pictures b/c I done have anyway to take them currently or they would be on the ad. I am aware that a Bushmaster is an expensive snake. As are alot of my collection. The price is so cheap b/c I am moving and I have a short time to get rid of the burden of the snakes. And I never received the check that was to be sent to me. there was only verbal agreements on the purchasing of the snakes and noone produced the funds for the purchase of the animals. So its a first come first serve basis as I previously stated. So my defense is justified.
 
I would think that editing an add or mentioning to the second and thirrd customer that a sale is pending would have possibly rectified this situation.

It's always amazed me that people seem to be able to afford $300-3000 snakes, but can't afford even a cheap little camera or even a webcam to snap a couple shots of the product they're planning on selling.
 
Well I can say this. Theres a man on here that is buying the snakes. We have already discussed this. he is going to take some pics of the snakes anyhow. And I am sure he will be more than happy to show the pics to anyone willing to look.

then how did you know the guy in north carolinas new address (which you quoted over the phone) if you didnt receive the check.you mean to tell me you $1000'S of dollars of reptiles and you dont have a camera i smell bulls#@t
 
Disposable cameras are pretty cheap too!


I found this that swampass posted on, funny how he needs to get rid of everything because he's moving, then why interested in a 600.00 Black Mamba? Interesting!
 
The reason that I WAS interested in the black mamba was b/c I wasnt sure I was going to move at that time. You know what? f#@% you guys. You can assume all you want. You guys have stuff all wrong. But you have no right to slander me.
 
The problem in the reptile comunity is people bickering and talking s..t about one another. when they have no facts. Just here say.
 
And this is for you SPEARMAN. The reason I knew his address is b/c he gave it to me for when the snakes get shipped. I wrote it down.
