    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We have just a few Northern flying squirrels available for new homes. We are also currently taking deposits on Southern flying squirrels. They will be ready about the first part of September. Southern flying squirrel form a very deep bond with their owners if acquired at a young age - are usually quite happy to spend time climbing and playing on their owner or sleeping in a pocket or bonding pouch on their owner. I sell out each year, so get your deposits in early! $150 each. Contact me for more information.

its me again, whats the difference in the southern and northern squirrels?

This is a Northern Flying Squirrel. Northern flying squirrels are different than Southern Flying Squirrels in several ways. The Northern flying squirrel is much larger than the Southern flying squirrel.The southern flying squirrel is about the size of a chipmunk, and the northern flying squirrel is slightly larger. Both are small, grayish mammals with eyes that are disproportionately large. The Northern flying squirrel has silky grey and cinnamon brown fur, with white tipped and grey based belly hairs. The southern sup-species is about nine inches long, while the northern sub-species measures almost 11 inches, including the wide flattened tail which is nearly half as long as the flying squirrel.

squirrels

this is a pic of the southern. I couldn't figure out how to attach two pics. The northerns are by far less agressive than the southern flying squirrels. They are more laid back and tolerate more handling. Melonie
