    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello. I am searching for Typhlonnectes eels. (they are sometimes called black rubber eels). If you have some to sell or if you know of someone that has some PLEASE let me know. I have a great deal of experience with them. My last guy passed away at 10 years old. It is common for them to pass away at 4 years.

I was thinking you were selling them (you should put "Wanted" before it). Yeah they're impossible to find now, trust me. It's too bad, they used to be fairly common. Occasionally First Choice gets some Cameroon Blue Caecilians, but those are the only ones I've ever seen. Amphiumas are kind of similar, and those are very easy to find.
 
Got my hopes up as well.. :( Eden Exotics is right, you will not find T. natans for sale in the US. I've been looking for years to no avail. They have not been exported from Venezuela for a long time due to their recent exportation law/government regime-change. You can find captive bred young in Europe however.
 
Contact the Como Zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota. I'm fairly certain I remember seeing T. natans there. They might have offspring and/or be able to point you to some zoological collections who might have surplus animals. http://www.comozooconservatory.org/
