    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mr. spuckler recently sold me a pair of albino Black rat snakes that will not eat , I also found one other customer that purchased from the same group of animals.
that person without my prodding described an experience that matched my own woth Mr. Spuckler.
you can be sure of one thing when dealing with mr. spuckler and that is after he has your money he could care less about you or the animals he sold you, you will most likely only receive only nasty unprofesional e-mails including name calling and bragging about how great He is.
He is willing to sell non eating animals and to the public and then talk to them as if it were their fault.
I have saved all of his e-mails
You would be wise to shop elsewhere!!!!!

I find it very difficult to believe that Tim would actually do what you said.I've known Mr.Spuckler for 10 yrs he and I do breeding loans together.I would have to believe that you are leaving out vital stats,that could make a difference in the way he would respond to your e-mail.Tim is a great guy to hang out with,I just seen him last week.I think there is more to this than meets the (Third Eye)

I too have done business with Tim and I found him to be very helpful, courteous, and I was very happy with animals I got. Why not post some proof of the accusations you are making?
 
I have known Tim "Mr. Spuckler" for at least 3-4 years & what your saying he said sounds nothing like him? Make sure if you post emails that you post both to & from Tim "Mr. Spuckler" I have a feeling that some of the story is missing here.
 
I bought my first group of snakes from Tim back in 2001. I continue to correspond with him to this day whenever I have a question. He's always been most helpful, even when I'm asking questions about snakes that I've bought from other people. The story that you are telling sounds nothing like him.
 
I originally had no intention of making an issue of this but simply due to the fact that the originator of this thread is being called into serious question regarding Mr. Spuckler's uneresponsiveness I have decided to share my recent experience as well.

I contacted Mr. Spuckler a few weeks ago about some Hondurans he had posted on Kingsnake. We came to terms on price and I then asked him what shipping method he used. He stated USPS overnight.

When i told him that would be unacceptable for several reasons, he suggested UPS which i said would be fine.

I did not receive any tracking info the day of shipment so I was watching for the animals all morning at work. When the did not arrive by 11:45 AM (I am in an express area and usually receive shipments by 9:30 or so) I E-mailed Tim requesting verification that the animals had indeed been sent out.

At approximately 1:30 PM (I know the UPS site says 1:08 but they are a little off) the animals arrived. They were in two deli cups containing shredded newspaper. The box was an old used camera or fishing reel box measuring 6" X 6" X 4". No styrofoam insulation, no cold packs and worst of all, he shipped them UPS Saver. The temps in Florida that day topped out at 92 and it was sunny. Both animals were extremely warm to the touch and the smaller of the two had her mouth gaping.

I shot the interior of the box and it was 94 after being in the air conditioning for ten minutes. My opinion is that if they had gone more than a few more minutes both would have died. I sent Mr. Spuckler the first Email you see posted below when I returned home that night and he has never even done me the courtesy of responding. The animals recovered from the heat and seem to be OK But the glowing comments I have heard posted above do not fit my experience at all.

Let me start this by saying that the animals arrived and hopefully are OK. They are also well represented. I have not sexed them yet but they appear to both be properly sexed. However:

I have to be honest. I would not purchase from you again based on nothing but the pathetic packing job you did on the animals. Shipping animals into Florida in the middle of August in 90 + degree temps without insulated packaging or cold packs in a box 6" X 6" X 4" is tantamount to animal abuse. And to compound that by shipping them UPS Saver is unbelievable! They did not arrive until after 1:00 PM. Both animals were very warm to the touch upon arrival and the thinner of the two had her mouth gaping. I shot the interior with a temp gun 10 minutes after they arrived and the temp was still 94. I won't know if they are at all permanently damaged until I can see if they will feed.

I have received dozens of shipments over the last 10 years and have personally shipped well over a thousand orders of my own since 1996 and in all that time I have never received a package that showed such a lack of consideration for the animals being shipped. I am not sure how long you have been shipping but you need to take a serious look at your procedures.

I am genuinely sorry that this transaction had this conclusion. I have no intention of sharing this experience but I surely could not recommend you based on it. That is a shame because the animals themselves are quite nice.

The guy sells nice animals but as the original poster stated, customer service does not seem to be high on his list.
 
I will start by saying I am the other person that was referred to by the thread starter, Christopher Cummings. I had found a thread posted somewhere about albino black rats not feeding, and I was having the same problem with mine. Anyways, I contacted Chris and we started talking about the situation and ended up being that we both got snakes from the same person, Mr. Spuckler. My snake arrived via USPS and was one of the poorest packing jobs I had seen. The snake was packed in a deli cup, inside an uninsulated, flimsy box, that was then put in an express mail bag. Luckily the temps here were not too bad, so the snake arrived in good shape. After 3 weeks of trying to get him to feed, I finally got him to take a live pinkie, left with him overnight, but only after I wrapped the deli cup in newspaper. He feeds fairly well now, other than having a bit of an undershot jaw. I never did contact Mr. Spuckler about any of this. i just took it as a lesson learned.

It seems that some of the people who have replied to your post are indicating that you are not telling the whole story...like maybe how you received a full refund, including the cost of shipping, for your alledgedly non-feeding snakes.

If you refunded, thats great, but have you rethought your shipping?

It say's alot that you gave a refund, but I hope you have fixed the shipping, from what I'v read above you have some nice snakes. Why risk them in shipping?

I admit that I've made some shipping mistakes. I can make excuses as to why errors have been made previously, but the bottom line is that they are errors on my part. I've resolved them - I have a new source of styrofoam boxes.

I can only guess that you are inplying that I am one of his (Tim's)friends since I replied. As I posted I did business with him and as I said I would do so again. I did not say I was his friend. I have met him on a few occasions. That would not make him my friend. I believe only one person stated that he was his friend. Get your facts straight and stick your opinions in that dark cave. We wouldn't want your head to get too lonely now.
