In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Tails & Scales, Derby KS...

Neil,

did a search, nothing came up, so I am asking.  OR if you can actually point me in the direction of the old thread, I would be happy to read there.

But as nothing came up in the search for me, well, no need to repeat myself;)

hi there.....I agree with Neil......I was scammed by a Robert Gentil in Daytona Beach FL, under the business name Scales and Tails....
Let me state that there is another Scales And Tails in TX,
but they are of two separate businesses....please do your homework before you consider a purchase.
By the way, HELLO NEIL!! <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I live about 1 1/2 hours from Derby. I've only been in the store once, but it's very clean. They have a good selection of animals and even breed some of their own. I've never purchased from them, but wouldn't hesitate to. I guess that's easy for me to say though, I would be picking up my animals in person. Anway I hope I was a bit helpful.

We have done business with them many times, in fact we drive 3 hours to go to their store.  They are honest about what they are selling and even responsible about who they sell to.  For example they won't sell a large aggressive python to a kid.  We have been in there when they have had animals which were not in the best of health & they refused to sell them until they were back up to 100%.  We have had nothing but great experiences!

I got my animal from them a couple of weeks ago and was pleased with what they sent me.  I have to say I have no hesitation doing business with them again or referring anyone to them.

I have dealt with John (the owner) on several occasions over the last couple of years. I would highly recommend Tales and Scales of Derby, Ks.
Ask for John.

I've been in & through Derby, KS numerous times & talked to both John & Zack on many occasions.

They're extremely knowledgeable; their shop is always clean & neat & they've got great looking animals too!!!

****I wouldn't hesitate buying anything from them****

Living in Tulsa, OK., I'm about 2.5 to 3 hours away from Derby, KS. and it's always worth the drive/trip!!!

They are both are really good guys!

:)

OOPS! Sorry I forgot to leave me name for the above reply...
