    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have recentley bought my first snake, a Taiwan beauty. She is a beautiful snake and i am very pleased with my purchase. I bought her when she was 3months old and she is timmid and a little skitish but is now settling down after a week after i bought her. I would like as much info of people who have this snake or similar breeds to make sure her new home and life is as pleasent as it can be. I would especialy like tips on heating and feeding as she seems to be only eating 15mins after the food has been placed in the tank. Is this normal? So the more info the better and much appreciated from me and the snake.
Thankyou

Here's a link to my Blue Beauty caresheet , which should be very similar to Taiwan care. Asian rats are gorgeous snakes with lots of personality and get to great sizes. It's normal for them to be skitzy especially when young but with regular handling at this age they'll tame down beautifully. My female blue is an absolute angel! Congrats on your first snake! Sounds like she found a great home. :)

Is the prey live or f/t? With my pair, each one has different habits as far as how fast to take their food. Sometimes they'll snap the f/t right up, and other times they want to think about it first. I have no experience with live though, so if you feed live hopefully someone else can speak up and help you out there.

The feed is dead. And thankyou for your post. your snakes are awsome. THe colours are cool. THey to must have happy homes. Cheers for the advice.

My pleasure, and thank you! :) Yeah, my scale kids are spoiled rotten, I love them to bits. I can't wait to expand my collection, beauties are fantastic snakes!

And with the feeding- So long as they eat it, it's all good. Snapping it up, taking their time, whatever their fancy, as long as they eat. :thumbsup:
