In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I love going into places like Hot Topic and getting stared at because I dress more preppy / casual then the regular crowd in there. If they only knew :)

Here's a pic of my favorite one.

I got it on my right calf when I was 20 and have no regrets :)

WOW, Ed...That tattoo is amazing! I've been considering getting a snake tattooed on me...If my tattooist can pull what you have off, I am definitly getting one. I have 4 individual tats. Two on the back of my neck (picture attached), & two on the lower left part of my back (my zodiac sign & a south-pacific modified symbol of a Scorpion). I regret getting the one on my back because I've gained about 75lbs and it's a bit distorted (so no picks of that will be posted, sorry). What I find amusing about my tattoos is that I can't even see them to appreciate them! My next one will definitely be somewhere that I can see.

Arrg for not having an edit button in this forum! :)

I wanted it to say...

I regret getting the one on my back because I've gained about 75lbs (Ooo, to be 110lbs again...) and it's a bit distorted (so no pics of that will be posted, sorry).

I have two tattoos..
The first one I got when I was 16. My dad took me to get it.
<img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v461/lvl0rg4n/tatankh.jpg>

The second one I got was for my 18th birthday. It was spurr of the moment. I had decided to get my nose pierced.. and then I wanted my nipples pierced but I watched someone else do it so I went with a tattoo.

I posted a pic of my "favorite" tat on the "what do y'all look like" thread...a Pegasus flying across my left shoulder.

You know, i have the same thing! Pegasus on my left shoulder as well, he faces inwards towards my spine. Ive got photos somwhere, ill have to post them! ^_^
I got it done a little after my 18th Birthday.

Alright ill post too!! these threads are just too much fun!

I got my tattoo a little after my 18th birthday (and managed to hide it till i was 20 and moving out! hah! they saw it the day i was moving stuff, but ended up not actually caring)
Anyway, its on my left shoulder and its of Pegasus.

Ive always been a huge fan of mythology and fantasy, so i doubt ill ever regret it. But i guess, 40 years from now well see right? :p
anyway, heres a pic, sorry its kinda bad!
DSCF0072-1.jpg

anyway, Enjoy! :p

Ive wanted another one for a really long time now, but i just cant decide where i want to put it. i have a vague idea of what i want. Actually, several ideas so im sure there will be more on the way....

One idea ive got right now is this : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/MooingTricycle/MeirouSketchScales.jpg

My character Meirou, though in this pic she has scales. i got bored, but i kind like this version of her and might do something more with it. well see. its all just ideas at this point!

I have thought long and hard about this, just dont know who would be the best artist to make it happen? want to get a couple of boas in ink. anyone know of someone that knows boas and can pull off a master piece? I will travel to make it happen. :shrug01:

Ed, I have always wanted a tat from Bob Tyrrell. If money is not an issue and you're willing to travel I'd highly suggest you take a look at his work. He has an amazing talent.
This is his website http://www.bobtyrrell.com/
Click on galleries and then animals. He specializes in blackwork and does some of the most realistic tattoos you'll find. His portraits are unreal too.
There are a few other artists with that ability of realism, but they are a small group to be sure.

Nice tats guys and gals.
I thought I'd contribute as well.
I just had a lovely (read not lovely) 4 hour sitting to have the outline on my back done. It's a grave yard to immortalize my 2 sisters and grandpa that have passed. As well as representy when I met my wife and how life changed. I was a very different person before that so I wanted a way to kind of "put her name on me" without actually using her name. That's what my tomb represents.
It's just the outline and I have 5 more 4 hour sessions booked everyother weekend. The shading has to be done, and the tree branches will come over my shoulders and wrap around my arms and across my chest to an opeing where you can see an anatomical heart with the branches squeezing it.
I'm also adding a picture of my recently deceased Ambanja Panther cham and a Beardie head, on my right shoulder and bicep.
Everything is greyscale, no color. I got alot of ohhh's and ahh's for getting something so big for a first tattoo. But I have been designing it and waiting for over 5 years to get it. I won't lie, it hurt like hell. :yesnod:

I'll post some more pics as we progress.
