So, I know that B. c. imperator has been elevated to species status. Does anyone know what happened with all the other subspecies? Does the newly created species, Boa imperator, have any subspecies of its own? I haven't been able to find this info on the web, or any kind of chart of updated taxonomy. I guess I don't really know where to look.

I also don't really understand current rosy boa taxonomy. Does anyone know of a source for a range map that shows what species/subspecies live where? I keep and breed several localities, and while I know what subspecies they USED to be considered, I want to be able to accurately describe their taxonomy for future customers. Specifically, I keep animals formerly considered L. t. gracia and L. t. roseofusca.
