    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Someone on another forum just told me that my temps are to high. My temps are 110-113 in basking area, 90-96 ambient in hot area, 80-85 in cool area and 70 at night. Every breeder Ive talked to said that these are optimal temps for a young beardie which mine is at 8 weeks. Can someone help please. I speant 3 days getting the temps just right now Ive got someone tellin me that the basking should be 105-110 with 85-90 on hot end and a cool end of 80? PLEASE

For babies 110 to 120 is a good range for the basking spot. They need the extra heat for better digestion. 80-85 on the cool end is dead on.

For adults 105-115 is a good range. Again 80-85 on the cool end. At night you can let your temps drop to the upper 60's with no worry.

I have to disagree with temps as high as 120, I'd say 115 max on the basking spot. My temps run from 105-115 basking for hatchlings, cool side in the 80's, and temps into the high 60's, low 70's overnight.

your temps are fine just remeber when your beardie gets older cool the temps down it is easier to burn them as they get older because there skin this thinner. i run about 107 if my thermostate is runnuing right in the basking spot and bout 78-85 on the cool end and bout 75 at night
