Perhaps for your simple questions but you have more experience.
I know that temperature is very important.
For this reason the next question:
What is according to you the best temperature for Drymarchon c couperi?
And uses you also heating on the bottom? (here in Europe people advised bottom-heating)

Thanks for the response,
I doubted because 1 of our snakes sometimes stays for several days on the warm side (95F). The next days he decides to stay on the other side (75F) of the terrarium. There is no link with eating.(I had already watched).
They have all 3 shelters in their terrarium, in several temperature areas.
He himself, however, knows best I think.

Personally, I think 77 degrees Farenheight is the all around optimal couperi temperature. But they should have a cooler spot, and a hot spot of about 95. And I like heat from above, because they are less likely to get burned. And during the winter, cut back on the number of hours that the hot spot is on. During the summer, make the days longer. During the fall, and winter, let it cool off to about 65 F at night. Sorry, you probably use celcius. Good luck,

I will connect a radiant heat panel on the thermostat for regulating day/night temperature.
I'm not a proponent of bottom-heating or rock-heaters. Previous month i have seen a snake with burns, because the thermostat broke during the night.
