• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I hate the fact there are no expos in the state!:( I've never been to an expo before. And I realllly want to go but the closest one is 2 hours away in kentucky!I know laws are strict down here but if they just loosened up for expos and put it in Nashville it wouldn't be a bad idea. It'd probably help get some money from taxes. There are a few places it could be done to.:shootfoot I hate this :(

Colin,
I've been looking into starting a show in the Greater Nashville area.
Will it happen? 80/20. So many restrictive laws. Most vendors will not be able
to afford to vend. The costs are high, many many herps prohibited, and TN is
not a herp friendly state.....
But I'm working with the state... if we can agree on terms.... maybe... but until then
all TN herpers will have to go elsewhere for their herps.... :(

Memphis Repticon is at the end of April. I know it is across the line in MS. I think I will be at that one. I am also going to the one in Murray, KY on July 9th. I went to the one in Hopkinsville, KY back in January and there were about 25 vendors. I think there will be more in Bowling Green as the Hoptown show was the first one for the traveling show. Here is a link to the KRE Forum. http://www.ekreptileshow.com/forums/ Very nice and helpful people on there.
