    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I saw one of these snakes on display at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. It looked really neat. I read up on them and saw that they are purely aquatic which was also a new one on me. I've seen some videos of people feeding them on Youtube but I haven't had any luck finding where I could possibly purchase one. Anyone know of anywhere in the US that sells them?

Definitely an unusual and very cool species. Sure to get anyone's attention and way cooler than just having a "fish tank" in your living room. I have occasionally seen them for sale on kingsnake.com and also on here. I'm not aware of anyone who has had much success getting them to breed so you're going to get WC specimens most likely. You might try Googling them, but the few places I found that had them advertised were out of stock.

they come in season around Aug and sept. keep looking looking in the forums you should be able to find one. The coolest thing about them is the way they eat. They strick were they think the animal is going to go and not were it is. Awesome awesome snakes

I worked at an AZA accredited zoo for about 5 years and during that time we produced about 20-ish offspring from our original 2.3 group. Really didn't do anything special to get them to breed, but it sure is neat working with them. If you do end up with some, invest in an undergravel filter. It'll reduce your cleaning time by a good bit.

just as iiicroweiii said, they are available seasonally only, although i have been hearing more and more about captive breeding them, apparently its not that hard.
