I have meant to write something about Steve and Terese for quite a while, but my short term memory seems to be going rather rapidly. Even though some time has passed, I wanted to relay a short account of why these two are great people to deal with!
A few months back, I was going to need a digital scale, and they had one that would suit my purposes fully. So, I talked to Steven on the phone to meet up with them in their town, but he said they were coming to Springfield (where I work), so we could meet there. Cool! Well, he suggested we meet at the IHOP, which is accross the street from Wal-Mart and McDonalds. Good deal, I'll see you there!
Well, I get there at the IHOP, and I'm waiting and waiting, but no Steven and no Terese. I realized that we had neglected to exchange cell phone numbers, so neither of us could get in touch with the other, and the time kept dragging on. Suddenly I realized that there was another IHOP on the other side of town, and it also has a Wal-Mart and a McDonalds nearby (those two businesses are EVERYWHERE!!!).
So, I called the manager of the other IHOP and asked him to see if they were there. At first, he said he would bother all of his customers to see if they were Steven and Terese, but when I said they would probably be the only people there with a digital scale ... he relented. He asked; they were; I started driving as fast as the legal limits would allow!
After nearly an hour and a half had passed, I FINALLY made it to meet them. I expected to see them paying their bill to leave, but no ... they had waited on me to order their dinner! Unbelievable! So, we sat down; they ate, and I had coffee, while we talked about herps, the Ozarks, and issues of the BOI.
They waited on me, whom they had never before met, and dealt with me with a smile, all for a small, inexpensive digital scale! THAT, my friends, is what you call customer service!!!
It still works great guys! Thanks again for your patience and understanding. Talk to you soon!
