    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Early last week I discussed purchasing a group of animals with Terry. He explained to me what I would be recieving and I explained what I expected...both of us were very upfront and I cant be happier with the animals I recieved today. He recieved my payment Tuesday 6/10 and was very eager to ship my animals the very next day. Another plus is it was the best packing job Ive recieved in any shipment, brand new boxes (smaller box inside a larger box both containing foam insulation) heat packs for precaution even tho its been plenty warm on my end and he covered the shipping costs to my door. These are flawless shining animals, scar free, no visible problems...not even so much as a mite turd on the bag! (Im finicky as hell and ship animals back with a quickness if theyre funky lol)

I knew the nature of how he does business going in, buying animals from others to resell, locate and purchase animals for people and also offers for sale animals that contacts of his own for a bit more like a middle man normally does.

Perhaps this is why I had such a good experience is i knew what to expect. Draw your own conclusions and always do your own research, he did very well by me.
 
I had read all that prior and made my own judgement call.....turns out I got exactly what I was promised, was treated very well and in a timely manner. I have no defense for anyone I dont know and wont offer any but me personally I have no complaints.
 
Recently bought 1000 mice from Terry Lilley.
They were packed well, shipped when they were supposed to be shipped and they arrived in great condition, well for frozen rodents anyway.
Refunded my overpayment promptly.

I have good memories of Terry Lilley from the 1970s and 1980s, when he mailed out a great, interesting price list like Tom Crutchfield did. I did have a couple of excellent purchases from Terry in the 1980s.

However, I have seen some complaints against him here on the BOI since I joined up in 2003. It makes me sad to see that anyone has had problems with him. :bawling:

Even if this is a legitimate positve post for Terry, which I have trouble believing considering the sources standing up for him and their history on this site, it would be one of maybe two or three that would be stacked up against the 50-100 negative ones. I have said it before and I will say it again, I have been in the herp biz for a bunch of years now and the only people that I have encountered that have ever dealt with Terry from way back in the day or much more recently, have every single one been ripped off, stolen from, lied to and in fact many are still awaiting for Terry to make good on animals and/or money he owes them from those deals. Eastern indigos, gilas, ball pythons etc. I know people who bought "het albino" female balls from him that bred year after year to albinos have never produced albino offspring. The list goes on and on. This is a very bad guy and if you can't beleive what the dozens of threads and piles of posts have said, then you deserve what you get.
