I give this gentleman my full recommendation. He is very knowledgeable, professional and just an all around great guy. His animals definitely reflect that.

We have to concur with Paul on this one Matt. Charlotte and I, along with a friend. picked up one of Terrys first litters of bcc since he's started breeding again and with the idea of adding 1 or possibly 2 of them to our own group as potential future breeder animals. These Surinames are so nice that we've only released 2 out of the entire group so far and have really enjoyed watching them develope and grow. An outstanding breeding with gorgeous neonates and we're quite happy with the entire transaction.

Thumbs up to Terry and we're glad to see he's back in business.

Thanks guys!

I appreciate the fine comments. Having been an avid breeder for over 30 years, I got fed up with the business as a whole (especially with all of the "experts" who suddenly sprung up over the last few years). Guiding GREENTRACKS expeditions in Amazonian Peru, speaking engagements, working on a Mississippi herp book, and my bladesmithing (a true passion) has kept me very busy. The actual reptile breeding/selling was cut back considerably.

Recently I re-married and my wife is very enthusiastic about getting ARCO IRIS HERPETOCULTURE rolling again. I've had my known shipper status with Delta Airlines reinstated and as of the 2002 breeding season we started putting our breeders back together again. Had great year and good things are still happening.

So, that's the news. Again, thanks for the support! Terry

What Terry didn't talk about was...

His leucistic cottonmouth project (I stole one of the pictures from your ad and it now resides on my desktop *WOW*), and the fact that he has always been willing to give honest, accurate and good advice about the hobby. I doubt he'd remember me, but several years ago he gave me great advice when I started presenting reptiles to school kids. The best advice I have found that you can give to kids when they discover a snake is something Terry told me to tell 'em, "Take two steps back and go play someplace else." It's something they ALL remember when you're done with the presentation, and hopefully they'll remember to do it when they encounter a snake in the wild.... unless they're my kids LOL... in which case, they run for a snake hook and a bag....

I'm glad ARCO IRIS HERPETOCULTURE is back....

Terry's knowledge and experience are unequaled, and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer individual to do business with. He is well known for his commitment to quality, both in the field of reptiles & hand crafting knives.

Highly recommended!
