• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Test my site please....

Can everyone try getting to one of my sites: http://dragoncharm.com

I am waiting on a domain transfer to a new registrar and am not sure if the rest of the world can see the site. I know I can see it due to cached DNS entries on my ISP's server but wasn't sure if anyone else could get to it still. The domain expired yesterday and when it transfers to the new registrar it will have a year added to the domain so it should work fine. It's just in limbo for 5-7 until my previous registrar approves the transfer. Thankfully I am have finished up the major sales I had going a few weeks ago, nothing for sale now so it's not killing me but it sucks that I have to wait so long. I am worried that some of my [email protected] email will be lost in the shuffle or returned to sender...... :(

Great, thanks for the responses. I guess it will keep working until the switch is made.

New registrar is godaddy.com. Old one was a company I used to host with but am switching now because I have since gotten my own server and I'd rather just renew my domain through a cheaper company.

nice. we have domains with godaddy as well as directnic
I'm slowly moving them all to them. Their prices are right, ease of use is good, and keeping all of them in one place makes it easier. Sadly though the domains I have with them are spread across 2 diff accounts since some were purchased directly by me for my own needs and some were purchased with a friend for joint partnerships. I lost track of how many domains I have to keep track of. :(
