In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Moved my grossly outdated and unfinished site to a new server. Would some of you mind clicking some links and GIF's on the pages and letting me know how things look in your browsers, and if the links work?

And a few pics to make sure my photo links are working...

your picture of Serendipity on your reverse stripe page is small. ill post more as i see issues.

Marge Web Photo Gallery: you have a few blurry small dups in there.

MJ Web Photo Gallery: 3 smaller dups. and 2 massive photos(also appear to be dups)

Thanks Tyler. Looks like quite a few things have glitches now. Those last two you mentioned should be executing as downloadable zip files. Interesting they open up in an editor when they never have before.

Guess I'll have to get off my butt and do some work now. HA HA BTW what browser were you using?

Thanks a bunch for the look over.

using the latest version of Firefox. if you want me to, i can go over it again after you fix everything?

Know of any good software for making picture albums? I'm looking for something simple to use, like WYSIWYG style.

To be more specific, I use Photoshop CS2's built in web album feature. It's simple enough to make an album, but then I have to customize the code to my liking, finding and changing the codes for background color, fonts, etc. Even that ain't too bad. But when I want to add pictures to certain albums, or remove them, there is so much code to put into 3 different pages, or find it and delete it, I get a little discouraged due to the time it takes.

There has to be something out there that I can simply drag some new photo's into an existing album, and it will update all the needed coding for me. I had someone who wrote their own programming for this, showed me an example that I liked, but since I wasn't looking for someone to do the coding for me, didn't really want someone else poking around my files, communication stopped.

I guess I could use the built in features at Photobucket. I pay for it after all. But I'm trying to get my pictures into my own storage and do away with 3rd party host's for that service.

Any ideas?

Thanks for looking!
Rick
