In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I recently changed doctors due to a change in insurance, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the new Dr. I went to Dr. on Monday ($75 copay) for a really bad case of swimmer's ear. He gave me ear drops and an oral antibiotic. My ear seemed to be getting until last night when the lymph nodes around my started to swell and really hurt. So, this morining I went back, fully expecting another $75 copay. When I pulled out my money and insurance card to hand it to the receptionist, she said I didn't need it. I did a double take. She said "Of course we wouldn't charge or bill your insurance for a follow up visit if the first treatment didn't work. We want to make sure our patients come back so we can fix the problem, and we don't want the cost to stop them." I have to say, I'm very impressed...I've never known another Dr. with that type of policy!

I had a doctor just like that. Unfortunately he moved about 40 miles away. Hope your better. I had swimmers ear a couple years ago and it will make a grown man cry, lol.

Apparently the bacteria from my swimmers ear tried to take up residence in my lymph nodes, as if it wasn't bad enough in my ear, lol. It seems to be significantly better after just 24hrs on a harder core antibiotic and prednisone, so it looks like I really dodged a bullet.
