    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

one of several lock ups between the male and female (he was not left in there with her, he was only left in with her for 6-18 hour stints after her post brumation shed/pre-ov shed, over a few day period). LOCK UP WAS ON APRIL 15TH (the initial lock up)

now, she dropped her eggs last night. (EGGS DROPPED ON 05/20)

My question is, do the eggs look "good"?

I've bred corns once (as a kid), basilisks, chams, (currently breeding) sand boas, anoles, etc etc. I've got some experience, just never with kings, and not much with snakes.

The eggs are clustered/stuck together, just like alot of clutches are, which I know is fine. My question is, should they be so soft and should they be so mishapen. They are white, which isn't typical of slugs, the shape is what has me confused.

I'm not worried about incubation. I have everything set up properly and have hatched out over 50 eggs over the past 18 months from 6 different species on the same set up.

My bet is that they're not good or fertile, but I'm always reluctant to discard them the first week--if they don't get leathery and they stay slimy--probably slugs. Also, if she has good body weight bottom 1/3, I'd re-introduce in about a week and 1/2 and try again.

They aren't slimy like alot of slugs I've seen.

She is a twig in her lower 1/3rd, she can't go another round this season.

The previous owner (who Brumated them) said the temps may not have been cool enough this time around.

Most of them look infertile to me, But a few might be promising. I don't plan on discarding any of them until they look really bad, since I have plenty of space to incubate them. I figure I can give them all as long of a chance I can before I pull the proverbial plug on them.
