I personally, would probably not change a thing.. except for the scumbags that seem to pop up all too occasionally.
I have met, (not just in the ball python industry, but... the hobby as a whole,) some of the most intriguing, personable, knowledgeable, helpful, caring, patient, understanding people. People.. that.... this hobby would be absolutely NOTHING without, save for, of course. the animals!!
Its one of those things where, you sort of have to take the bad with the good. There will always be some people who are more greedy and careless about their animals, and, so long as everyone who gives a damn about these animals that bring the lot of us together, keep the scum away as best they can, im gonna say, you cant do much more than that.
in the very few years i have been into this hobby, i have learned much. and hopefully, in turn, i have helped a few people myself, with some of the knowledge i have gained.
Ive met some awesome people who i owe so much to, many of which i call friends. Friends that i would do anything for, regardless of the fact i may have never met these people in "real life" , people who have been there for me, be it personal.. or if i had some sort of weird question( LOTS OF THOSE! ha!), or didn't fully understand something and they took the time to sit there with me in chat/phone and explain things to me. or just general fun chitchat. and some for a random ( several at once, in one case) critter/gift.. what have you. Things... i never. ever. ever. in my LIFE expected. I appreciate these things more than i think i can even explain. It just goes to show what kind of people you can find and get to know

I dont think i ever expected it to be what i have come to see everything, as a whole, to be. Which is... Just a plain good ole rockin time that i wouldn't give up for the world!
I can handle the drama of the industry/hobby. Its everywhere regardless of how much you try to get away from it. and overall.... really. like i said before, i wouldnt really change much.
