In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I wanted to take a minute to recognise one of the best
reptile-related businesses I have had the pleasure of
doing business with in a long time. Recently, I found
myself in need of a few odds and ends, and I
remembered that a good friend of mine recommended The
Bean Farm to me as a source for the kinds of things I
needed to buy.... I did a "Google" search on "The Bean
Farm" and found this link:
http://www.beanfarm.com/

I had a look about the web page and after writing down
the things I wanted to buy, I phoned my order in. I
spoke with Paula Fagioli, one of the owners, and Paula
took my order and payment information... the whole
transaction took about 3 minutes. I received a phone
call about an hour later, (This was Wednesday, last week) It was Paula, phoning to tell me that one of the products I had ordered was out of stock, and she asked me how I wanted to handle the situation. I told her to ship everything at the same
time, and that was the last I heard about the order.
Tuesday, (Less than a week, including the back-order) my order arrived! It was professionally packaged, and everything I asked for was inside. I can't recall a smoother transaction, nor can I recall feeling better about how I've spent my money, or who I spent it with.

Far too often, we hear about the losers and rip off
artists in the Reptile business. I figured I'd tell
you about my GOOD experience with "The Bean Farm." I
also wanted to recommend their services to any of you
who find yourself looking for just about anything
reptile related, but you (like me) live a long way
from a supplier.

i too had a order placed for the very 1st time with the beam farm
and i must say purchasing from them was a fast easy and painless process
i will not hesitate to do business with them or to send business to them from my customers when they need supplies
prices are fair and shipping is choice ( love that option )
anyone needing anything i recommend going to bean farm for supplies

I have to add to the compliments. I've dealt with the Bean Farm on a handful of occasions, and their service has always been great.

I've tried it both ways - via the 'net and on phone - all is extremely smooth.

Plus -as a bonus - if you're ordering flexwall and are a dufus mechanically-speaking (like me!&#33 - they have great instructions attached.

Give'em a try!!

I have to agree with everone here. The Bean Farm is great. The only differance is that they are here in my back yard. You should always check with them first, because they can usually get what you need even if they don't carry it.
