    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is the pair that Gary and I went in on together last year, they are about 14 or 15 months old now. First up is the little lady lol she had just shed and ate a nice a meal. The head shot is the male who shed last night after I took the picture. These guys are a real kick to work with, real laid back and if snakes can be friendly these guys are . Randy

AWESOME. How "arboreal" whould you say these guys are? What's their feeding/defication schedule? Thanks for sharing.

Matt, they like to climb, in the morning when their lights comes on they come out and warm up then often head up onto their perches for the day. They spend their nights in their hides or coiled up some where on the floor. They save on your electric bill as they don't seem to like heat at night, their cages get down around 70 every night which is room temp. I've been feeding once a week or so and they seem to do well on that schedule I've not really kept track of their defecation's like I did with Basins and Northerns but they seem to have no problem digesting their food in a reasonable time even with the cooler night temps and make very good use of what they eat..

I will say this they are the most unusual snakes I've ever been around, I've always had snakes more for looking at than playing with lol but these guys well it sounds weird but they are sort of friendly, they come and too me when ever I get near their cage and will watch every move I make. If I didn't know better I'd say they like being messed with. I've never seen anything like them and can't really describe what it is about them, one of those you have to see it kind of things.. Randy

I'm so jealous. These guys are definitely on my wish list. Are they really as hard to acclimate/care for as people say? Or just simply stinkin expensive?

Beautiful animals in any case.

Randy,
I've seen just a couple of these guys in person and, hahaha, I began calling them the arboreal Basset Hound. From what I've seen, they're like a dog. Good to hear they want to be your best friend too! Hahaha. Good luck with them. Who breeds these guys consistantly?

Well Matt that is the problem, there haven't been many of these guys that have successfully bred in captivity, somewhere around 5 or so breeding's so far in the US and a couple elsewhere. Most of the babies you see available are farm bred like these two.. Randy
