Ok Mr Lawson we hope has finally come to the end of his ropes.

The whole reading takes some interesting turns, the two you are primarily interested in are the 5th and 6th charges down. Burglary*G Theft* Crim Mischief* Animal Cruelity, and Unlawful sexual activity with a Minor. These two along with a few of the others you see were set for trial on Monday February 9th. He Failed to appear, if you click on the case number on the far left for the Burglary charge and scroll all the way down you see the notation for this. So at this point in time, Pasco County Sheriffs office has 5 warrants out for his arrest.

Now you might wonder why I have an interest in this, a friend of mine convienced me to send two adult albino boas to Dave to sell, She was moving down there and Dave had offered her a job taking care of his animals.

It turns out he stole a large amount of personal property from her and the kids, and sold my boas without paying me for them. I have kept quiet until this point to make sure she and her kids are safe. Since she is still in the area, and he has been doing his best to keep harrassing her. She now has a restraining order for life against him. And he has apparently fled the area. So her safety was my number one concern,

Two things, if you by chance see Dave at a show or anyplace else contact the local law enforcement. His bail bondsman "Brads Bail Bonds" would probably like to hear from you since he skipped out on his bond with the FTA. And if your the person who purchased two adult albino boas from Dave on or about Jan 18th they are stolen property. I am pursuing this fully within the law.

His company name is Victoria Reptiles, I am in contact with MySpace since he seems to going on his page there. I think the charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor would interest them. And I am in contact with Kingsnake since that is where Dave sold his animals, (and my animals).

Lastly I want to thank John Schmitt and Mike Greathouse for being so kinda as to help her in this time of need.
 
Oh dear God Michael - I knew there was even more to the story than I knew, but wow. I knew she would be able to count on Mike to help.

This came up in the discussion forums too... a nameless female friend who went to work for Dave Lawson.

You can't follow the rules of the board if she hasn't got a name... and you can't keep her anonymous to protect her reputation from the filth that's going to be splattered all over it through her voluntary association with Lawson.

She's an idiot to associate with the kind of career criminal that Lawson is. This doesn't change the misdeeds on his part with regards to her... but what in the hell did she expect was going to happen?

Post her name, so people know to stay far, far away from someone who's judgment is so bad that they'd throw in with Dave Lawson.

She has nothing to do with Dave Lawson stealing my boas. She has nothing to do with Dave having warrents out for his arrest. She has nothing to do with the fact that anyone who is keeping Dave is harboring a fugitive.

She is a witness to the fact that my snakes were stolen. She isnt the issue her personal property isnt on the BOI its my boas and thats just what this is about. Dave Lawson stole two boas and until he made the choices to run I havent felt safe in bringing this issue out.

So Seamus stick you head back in the your stupid little ego. And let the real world go about its business.

Then your post violates the rules of the BOI.

Without a name, her credibility can't be judged. The value of her story and her situation in condemning Dave's actions relative to her can't be judged. It's anonymous and meaningless.

And it does have something to do with her reputation. She involved herself with Dave long after the quality of Dave's character was known. Her thought process and intelligence is suspect at best should it arise as an issue in the future. Lay down with dogs, wake up with fleas. Lay down with Lawson, well... it sure doesn't say anything good about her.

YOU brought her up. Her story obviously adds some weight to the arguments against Dave, more misdeeds and criminal acts on his part... if it's true and if it has a name attached to it so that it's validity can be understood. An anonymous story happened to nobody, it's meaningless.

If you didn't think it said something about Dave and this situation, you wouldn't have mentioned it at all. The only thing I am asking for is the name of the woman, so people reading can know if she's a credible source and so the rules of the site are followed.

Dave, why don't you start with the truth again, it was not some friend of yours, but infact your ex-wife Rozann aka Stardust. And just for your information, it has everything to do with reputation, your's and hers. That is how it is when you support know trash and proven scammers in this hobby.

From the perspective of the rules of this site, Seamus is correct. You chose to mention "a friend of yours", "her", and "she". Since this WAS brought up in a discussion forum, and she WAS named, I certainly understand your concerns...but if you want to leave her out of it, you should have left her out of it (on the face of it, "she" has little impact on the part of the story you are emphasizing - at least since you state She isnt the issue her personal property isnt on the BOI its my boas and thats just what this is about).

However, IMO, the ONLY part of that first part that really becomes a problem is the comment about Lawson stealing from her...as that is the only part that comes from an anonymous source (the fact that a friend of your talked you into selling Lawson your snakes is neither here, nor there, as it isn't commentary about/against Lawson.)
If you choose to say anything else about the situation, with information that isn't public knowledge, you will need to name the source.

Obviously I am the female in question.
I did make that statement in 07 but I had also met him later that year in Florida along with his mother and nephew and I was shown papers regarding the case with Neil Gubitz and thought I had another take on the situation about who David Lawson is (and his mothers kindness). I also had several conversations with his mom about purchasing the house as she wanted to down size and live closer into town.
I moved here and was here a very short time before I realized that all was not what it appearred to be in 07. I started looking for another place before my belongings were even unpacked from the moving company, I had found another place to live and that morning was going to move my belongings out, that is when Mr. Lawson said to get out and would not let me get my belongings (when he found out I was moving my things out). So no I was not "homeless", he simply wanted us out and to keep the belongings.
The restraining order is one that is such that it was a business matter and not a personal or involved manner. For the very short time I was there I did work and got paid for it through paypal which is indicated on receipts, although he has tried to mess with that as well since one of the things he kept was my personal computer, it is almost all straightened out now.
It took 3 days for him to ok me going there to pick up my belongs with police escort each time. I called Bobby to ask for telephone numbers so I could perhaps get some assistance in moving my things. Out of 104 boxes that were moved from MI to FL I only received 53 back and only some of my furniture back, also I have pictures that all my boxes had been gone through and retaped (not the same tape as the moving company) or my family. I did not place this on here because it has nothing to do with reptiles. I also have an ongoing investigation both civil and criminal so I do not wish to discuss this part further. Although I can verify some time lines if needed.
Mr. Lawson, as court records indicate was indigant, as of the 5th of Feb he suddenly obtained monies for a lawyer. His new lawyer had asked for another continuance on his case which was denied, he did not show that date. On the nineth of Feb trial was to proceed, again he did not show so his bond (he was already out on bond) was upped and warrants were issued. It is the timeline that needs to be addressed here to make things clearer.
As to the heart of the matter, as of the 18th of Jan 2009 Mikes albino boas were there, I have pictures of them on that date. As I was gathering what belongings I could to leave the house, Mr. Lawson was on the phone to try to sell those boas. When I went back to obtain more of my belongings I did not see those boas there, Mike can answer questions to the phone recording of Dave telling him the boas were sold.
I am not a seller of reptiles per se', I am a personal keeper of reptiles with the occasions BD baby. This is not about my reputation for business as I am not really in that business.
Yep, I guess Seamus can say I am an idiot for trusting, what can I say to that? I made a mistake. I am not going to make excuses to adding salt to the wound does no one any good, and no name in the world could run as deeply as what Mr. Lawson has done.

Bobby I appreciate your help on the morning I called you to obtain phone numbers but to go start up the drama was wrong. This is my family and personal life and not for the BOI or fauna for that matter with the exception of Mike's snakes being stolen.

Bobby didn't bring it up on the BOI. Michael is the one who decided to put your story in his post.
 
So in your opinion Rozann, it is ok to support known scammers? Sorry, but I do not agree, you should have known better then ever putting yourself and children in that garbage.
 
The only reason I sent the snakes to begin with was because Rozann would be there. So go ahead and call me his business partner, lets just keep showing the world what kinda of idiot you really are.

That is why I said to fauna in general as well, I was shown the "in the news" section.
Until today I have been chasing my identity back so I have had little time to sit down and read.
I know you all do not have to but I would respectfully ask that my personal part not be brought up until all legal matters have been exhausted.
