• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

The Frog Pond is a unique, versatile low cost alternative to your standard glass and acrylic terrarium/aquarium. We hand build a terrarium from used and styrofoam boxes (like the heavy duty Omaha Steak boxes) that are 1-1/2" thick.
First we seal the boxes with 2 coats of of a special water proof primer. Then we apply a thick layer of 100% silicone aquarium safe sealant for a water tight seal. We install a real glass front window for easy viewing. Needless to say the insulation properties of the styrofoam holds the heat twice that of a glass aquarium of the same size, a heater is not needed. We also placed recessed vent slots on each side to help facilitate air flow and ventilation.
You can use the Frog Pond as a terrarium/vivarium. It's excellent for fish, small lizards, newts, frogs, snakes, toads, and salamanders. The thick styrofoam helps to maintain the heat and humidity that some of these animals and plants need. Its great for some semi-arid and desert plants and animals too, just curtail the water usage and the terrarium becomes very dry.
You can create many different environments with the Frog Pond including swamp, bog, rain forest, woodland and shoreline habitats. It all depends on what your animals needs require. Go to http://www.etsy.com/shop/PondviewSystems
