• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I was going to try for a shot of them together, but the male (2nd pic) was having no part of it - as soon as I set him down, he was on the move. I finally had to cup my hand over him til he stopped, ready the camera, and take the shot as I pulled my hand off.
The female...quite content to sit there and pose - she knows she looks good :thumbsup:

Got a few years to wait on those two...I'll try to come up with something to satisfy you in the meantime
 
Very nice! I was looking at one in Columbus last weekend but didn't take the plunge. How do they look when they get older?

Judging from the adults I have seen, they get better with age (IMO). I'll let you know as they grow :thumbsup:
 
Awesome pair Harald! I have always admired this species but I had a bad experience with one lunging at my face about 10 years ago. That kind of ruined me on them.....

hmmm - the stuff that lunged at my face so many years ago ended up being some of my favorite critters. On a more serious note, if you haven't played with a blood in that long, I highly recommend that you give them another try.
 
LOL... I know what you mean. I still keep bulls and I have been bitten in the face by them.....
 
on that subject - man...one of my adult girls latched on to me this afternoon, and did not want to let go
I finally tapped out somewhere after the 40 minute mark
