In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy The Jungle Florida

I purchased a 1 year old Female
The ad here on Fauna said that they were 3 years old, not 1. And the ad Did you buy one of the ones advertised here?

My Chameleon died after the this day, she was in a really bad shape, I did show the video to the vet when I went to the vetnerian but they aslo said it would be hard to tell the cause but they said that, she migjt of been ill in the and that shipping was the tipping of the ice berg.
I'm not understanding exactly what you are saying, did you take your chameleon to the vet before she died? (I hope so, you are telling us here of a progressive decline while you wrote about refunds not about how to make her better or more comfortable) You did not mention a vet until I brought it up.
Could you please post your vet receipts? And do you have a pictured of the deceased?
Vets in my experience don't usually talk like that 'she might have been ill' and ' shipping was the tip of the iceberg'.

I'm wondering if the critter is in fact dead.

So, did you ask them if they bred the chameleon themselves? Yes or No.
If so, did you agree to purchase a chameleon from them knowing in advance it was not bred by them? Yes or No.

I did not ask if they breed because I assumed they were breedrs. I normally deal with breeders so now I know to ask if they are breeders. O would not buy any animale that is from a pet store. I have heard many bad stories from pet stores.

In the screen shot you posted in your very first post, they told you they had her for around a month. Clearly you knew they did not produce her.

Lucile, my problem is that by the way I have seen this how the chameleon illness is, it has been progreeive and it was declining quick. I did not went to vet as it would cost me money. I did not purchase a chameleon so that I could end up with vet bills when it arrived to my house. This company would not take care of my of my vet bills which it would jot be putting out more than is should be. The Chameeleons I asked for was. 1year old. I did not wanted a 3year old. I really do not have time to deal with Vet. Its not that I do not want to. I make sure that that all my chameleons have what they need to stay healthy, so I do not need to take them to the Vet. I learned that when I first obtained a Chameleon since then I have learned alot through many breeders.

Yes I knew that after the fact when she was ill and When she was already shipped to me.

So what is all this?:

I did show the video to the vet when I went to the vetnerian but they aslo said it would be hard to tell the cause but they said that, she migjt of been ill in the and that shipping was the tipping of the ice berg.

Let's see a pic of the deceased please.

So what is all this?:

It means I did not want to spend more money. Its that simple.

Let's see a pic of the deceased please.

Why are you intergating me many questions? what video of rhe dead chameleon. I did not make one, why should I. I do not plan to waste more time dealing The Jungle Florida. I was trying ti educate people from my mistakes with companies with policies they have. I choose to not get another chameleon from them because I did not trust them. I am not complaing that I should get a free one anymore because they are not will to gurantee me a healthy one so. I rather want consumers to see what they need to learn just like I did with my eperience. What are you trying to get too?

I don't think you are fit to own critters. That is pathetic, to stand by and see a critter die. But I don't think that happened.

I'm asking questions because I think you are lying and the critter is still alive.

From the original ad:
"We got in" = did not breed, but got in, received in, picked up, acquired, took possession of.

Well if you came to my post to say I am a lier, well thanks for your opinion, I am not here to fight or argue with you. If you do not like what I do, live with it. I take care of my babbies, i have rasied from day one. I just started to breed and I am not even looking to make money. I am planning to gove them away to family and friends so they can also enjoy this beuatiful Chami's. So I do not think you know enough to say what you just said.

I'm asking questions because I think you are lying and the critter is still alive.

I am not here to give this company a bad review and I am not here to be judge, these is educational experience as the way I took it. I am not here to argue, call me what you want. I am not judging you in no manner so I wont say anything else to you.

Not prior her death. I did go after, just to get an idea since it would be free.

Your vet consults on dead animals for free, but won't do the same for a living animal? That sounds strange since both will take up the vet's time so you'd think if one would be billable, so would the other.

Well I showed them the pictures and it wasnt like they were actually looking at the chameleon. I did not want to take too much time from the doctor. They said if I would have brought her sooner, they could have dignosed her with something but they could have determine what caused the ilness but with video, the vet could say much but it seemed like she was already ill. Which it doesnt help much at least its something better than nothing.

Unfortunately, you have given them a bad review and one where you should take some responsibility for.

You failed to read/understand their ad. You entered into an agreement knowing the conditions before hand. The animal wasn't taken to the vet. The seller offered a free animal, if you paid shipping. You declined. You did in fact label this thread as a "Bad Guy" thread and not an "info" thread.

Sound about right?

another "bad guy" post that is a waste of time. You spent so much time on fauna but never took the sick animal to the vet. then the seller offers to send you another animal for only the cost of shipping and you still complain. cant win with some of these people...
