    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The new fellas in my life.

I just got my two little balls pythons from Brian Barcyzk yesterday, and before i show the pictures, Boy was i amazed, he was SUCH a nice guy, very excited to have me and my cousin over, ( me and my cousin both went to get a snake, she paid for it.. but its staying at my house, and im feeding it while shes at college.. so ill say its mine) But Brian, took like an hour out of his busy day ( he just got a truck load of new cages in and a bunch of other stuff going on), and he showed us all of his projects he was working on, some of his new little python morphs! VERY cool guy, and it goes to show he really does care about his snakes and his buisness when he lets 2 18 year old girls visit his facilities and take up his time. Very well managed place, and i would suggest him to anyone who wants a good experience with snakes and breeders.
Second half of story, we spent about another 45 min - an hour looking through over 200 baby ball pythons! i was in heaven, he just set us up, and said pull out what you want stick back what you dont, play with them check them out, and ill be around hollar if you need me.. so we got to sit there and go through stacks!! of babys! they were soo cute. I had finally picked out my little guy (oatis) he was the lightest baby out of around the 130-200 i looked at, very bright, and def caught my eye, most of the babys had alot of reds and dark oranges going on, Which leads me to the next guy we got. My cousin picked out her little guy (Romeo, who lives with me haha) and hes a cutie too. he was one of only 2 or 3 that had a pretty solid dark line down his back, and alot of red. SO there only about 3-4 months old, and both boys eatin F/T. Hopefully they will take their first meal next monday. There both loving there cages, exploring everything! and not one nip/strick/ or edgy movement yet.. (crosses fingers)

go ahead & feed on Saturday. There are individual issues with feeding response, particulary related to handling, but you won't know about those til you try to feed (unless the breeder tells you). Some people have to leave their BP alone for a few days prior to feeding, others have no problem at all. I have one ('05) that balls up as soon as I open her box, and tightens up that ball if I try to dance a mouse around for her...I just reach in, tip her over a bit so I can see her face, and put the mouse in front of her - *snatched* while I'm still holding on to her, lol.

haha.. yea i guess that was a dumb coment i made.. :slamit: .. but! on another note, what i was getting at was he told us he doesnt regularly deal with private buisness deals and such.. so most would assume people at my age might not be very responsible or good to do buisness with. maybe im wrong..

Those are great looking. It sounds like a wonderful experience sifting through 200 pythons. How much fun is that?! I could spend a week doing that.

Well, the light colord one (oatis) has eatin twice, very good eater, loves his mice. there both on frozen thawed . Romeo hasnt been so fortunate. we had gotten a humidity strip, and we couldnt read it, so we just got the new guage and it read at 85% so since romeo is at my place i took the bedding out of his cage, which dropped the humidity to 65-70. i would have liked it to drop to 55-60 because thats what oatis is at, and hes doing great, but we're gettin there. we'll give romeo a week with the new changes and try to feed for the third time.. hopefuly all goes well! and yea, im dying to get another ball from BHB, brian was so cool, next time im going to aim for a female. it was awesome there. he had actually around 1800 normal 3-4 ,month old balls, but only 200 were on F/T.. lots of fun! any ways, Happy NewYears everyone!

Sounds like a blast. Did you get to see any top secret projects? I have only heard good things about Brian.

haha no top secrets, might have seen some, but wasnt told lol.... but i was in awe the whole time, he has alot of georgous snakes, I saw bumble bees, pinstripes, spiders, lavendar albinos, piebalds,clowns... O ivories and LUCYS!! my fav.. soooo many pretty snakes, while we were being shown his rooms, as we walked he was like, "hey if you guys see any tubs with labels that catch your eye, justt pull them out and take a look" of course i took a couple peeks, but was almost nervous to be messin with his stuff, so we left it up to him, which he pulled out 30-40 bins, which all had stunning little guys in them. Im actually heading back on saturday morning, my cousins snake that isnt eating, well still isnt eating and shes heading up to college, so the problem will be farther away... he told us to come back and he'll get her one that will be a guarentee eater so she doesnt have to worry about it up there. so i cant wait for sat......wish me luck TO NOT buy another snake... soo hard
:) Michelle

Oh, come on...don't be scared! buy another snake. Just because I've sworn off buying (again, lol) doesn't mean you should.

haha well i dont think you live with your parents.... plus.. on a responsible note.. i dont have another cage set up yet, and i want to make sure my snake keeps on keep on... with feeding and everything else for a bit. But ill def let you all know with pictures and stories if one accidently comes home with me :D
i assure you all my collection will grow in time... O! and my little Oatis is going into shed!!! almost 21 inches long now!! and he ate the day i noticed he was going into shed.. his eyes are faded and so is the rest of his body. it took him a moment to notice the mouse was there... but as soon as i raised the bloody mouse nose that was dripping(eww) to his nose.. he snatched it. my bf was so bummed, he came over to specifically watch the feeding, and we sat there for 5-10 min.. just dangeling.. and then his phone rang so he left. as soon as he turned Oatis grabbed it. haha
