    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Back in the old days people would cook 'real food' for picnics, and the picnic basket would contain foods like fried chicken potato salad, etc.
Those are still popular foods but depending on when and where the picnic takes place, there are many choices from trail mix to gourmet take-along meals. This poll explores your fave choices for picnic foods.
 
i chose burgers from the american foods..but we dont usually eat american food that much at our picnics...mostly our arabic food..which would be difficult to pronounce in english much less try to read it. :)...but its goood
 
Funny how there was never any

salmonella floating around the old picnic basket in the old days or at least ya never heard of anybody getting it from a picnic. My parents were heavy into rock finding ( this is the blame I put in them for my reptile addiction because when you lift rocks you find reptiles ) and we would take excursions of hours to get to someplace that had Geo's, cannon balls, crystals, and fossil embedded rocks and at best maybe, just maybe the old fried chicken might be Luke warm but normally just on ice in a cooler as the potato salad was. I'm talking of anywheres of 3 to 4 hours of traveling then looking for rocks and eating the picnic basket of goodies not until 1 or 2 o'clock in the afternoon and us leaving for the trip at 6am or so. I don't remember any of us or extended family on these expeditions ever coming down with a bacterial or food poisoning problem. Would I do that now ? No way !
