Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I responded to one of his ads on Reptimart. I agreeded to buy two rainwater leopard geckos from him a male and a female. I sent a money order to him on July 22nd and he told me he would let me know when he received it. He contacted me and told me he received it on July 30th. Then he told me that he would ship the geckos on Monday August 2nd for a delivery on August 3rd.
Then he sent me this email:

I am going to be going out of town until Tues. evening. I will ship on Wed.
for a Thurs. delievery guaranteed. I have to go and take care of a few
things so sorry for the delay. I will ship on Wed. guaranteed or you will
get them for free with a refund. Sorry again for the delay. Ill let you know
as soon as I get back. Thanks TTYL....

Which I knew it was a scam as soon as I read that, he told me I was gonna get the geckos for free if I didn't receive them on Thursday guaranteed. But it had been to late because I had already sent him the money. I emailed him yesterday stated that I wanted him to ship my geckos or I wanted a refund or I was going to report him for internet fraud. This guy goes by the name of Rich Lincoln. His email is [email protected] and when I tried to email him I got my email returned he erased the email address. His address is

the same address as Mitch Garlaw or Garlow however you spell it. He also used the same email address as Aaron Duarte. So I'm assuming that Mitch Garlaw or Garlow, Aaron Duarte, and Rich Lincoln are the same person. So now I'm out $73 dollars and have no geckos. So no one buy from him becasue you won't get the geckos he's a scammer.
 
what does it take to learn about sending

money to a stranger, and of all items for Leopard Geckos. Their are so many quality people out their who could have provided exactly what you were looking for that are reputable. Sorry for your loss.
 
Ashley.... It MIGHT not be too late.... IF IF IF you sent a BANK money order.... you can STOP PAYMENT on those!!.... Call your bank first thing Monday and find out.... IF it was a POSTAL MO.... I'm afraid you're SOL.... sorry....

If it was a Postal Money order goto the post office and file Mail Fraud charges.It works but it takes time.Or should I say it has worked for me in the past.And make sure you take all the emails and so forth for proof and they will help you out.
 
It was a money order I bought at a store called Navarro, it was a Western Union Money order.

This the email he just sent me:

My flight was cancelled. I got home last night. Sorry about that. I am
shipping Mon. morning and an throughing in an extra leo. I have 3 others
waiting too. I guess I am going to have to give them an extra leo as well.
Ill let you know as soon as they are on the way. Sorry again about this. Is
it hot enough to where they will need a cool pack? I only have 2 cool packs
left and 4 packages to send out. I am trying to send the cool packs to the
hottest locations. I can make some if I need to though. I might just go up
to Rep Depot and pick up a few cool packs. I should have gotten some in. Ill
send you the tracking # on Mon. Let me know about the temps. TTYL...

So I'm going to wait until Tuesday to see what happens and hopefully he'll come through time will tell.
 
ASHLEY, I just hate to see people get

ripped off unnecessarily. I realize hindsite is 20/20, but their are so many obvious good dealers out their. The only thing a stranger can do is dangle a carrott, and thats how they draw you in. Even if this person makes good on the transaction, his business ethics are poor. Apparently he does not care now that he has your cash in his pocket. Please let us know what happens. If in the future you are in need of geckos, drop me a line, I know who is who in the geckos world. JERRY
 
I will keep everyone posted on what happens. As for leos if I get these I wont be buying any until next year.

I received the geckos

He told me he would ship Monday and email me the tracking # and he did. The geckos were shipped next day through usps and get here today. I didn't receive the two Rainwater Albinos that I bought from him but I did receive 4 geckos. I received 1 albino het for patternless, 1 het for patternless, 1 hypo tangerine, and 1 hypo pastel. For waiting longer he sent me two free geckos so it was worth the wait. I didn't receive the Rainwater Albinos but I got four geckos instead of two and there healthy and in good conditon. I bought them from Aaron Duarte and he told me that the reason that he told me to send the money order under Rich Lincoln was because he lost his I.D. He also told me that Mitch is his roommate. I can't prove that this is true or false but I can say that he did come through and I got my geckos. I would by from again but he'd have to ship the geckos first and then I'd pay for them.
 
Im glad your happy with the leos. You did get better leos and some extras for the wait. I would have no problem sending leos first since I have dealt with you and I would send first to anyone that has refferences. You got 1 Albino Het Patternless, 1 Hypo Tangerine, 1 Het Patternless and 1 Hypo Pastel. The Hypo Pastel is what I would think it is as it is not yellow or tang but more of a Pastel and it will lose most of the few spots it does have. I am just glad to get this all squared away. I know haw anxious you were to get the leos and I am sorry for the delay. I felt that you should at least get the extra leos as compensation for the wait. It might take a few days for them to settle in. Thanks for updating everyone on the situation. So I guess this will end in a good note.
 
Sorry you didnt get a het patternless it was a het patternless albino. From breeding my Male RW Patternless Albino to My High Yellow Female sorry for the confusion.
 
Not so fast Tonto,

you have lousy business habits especially when someone sends you money. In advance no less. I would not be so concerned about checking other references as I would to fulfill the promise to ship what someone paid for. Insofar as using a ficticious name to collect your money, you have some real problems if you cannot establish your own identity. This business about loosing your ID, just does not cut it! Using another persons identity, really makes one wonder! Their are to many children playing in this game, and I think it would be to your advantage to find another avocation.
 
Well according to Aaron, he and Mr. Lincoln and Mr. Garlaw are roomies so nothing should come as too much of a surprise. I'm glad you came through Aaron, don't let Mitch teach you any fancy games and you might be ok. There would be no reason to send extras (and lose money) if you did what you said when you said you would.
