    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Wow Cheri, that is pretty cool. It was sent through kingsnake as a reply to one of my adds so it is probably not direct? Or does it still mean that the user is in the Seattle area?
Anyway to find out the IP address of someone who posts classifieds on KS? It used to be that you could view the source, but it is no longer in the code now.
I'm not too worried about it, LOL...it is just always nice to know who your enemies are--I did not know I had any.

wow, that is interesting, I tested sending some emails from their site..... that is the REAL IP of the sender listed at the bottom of the page, and I TRIED to spoof it! Althought the line "This message was sent by an unregistered or non logged in user." is baloney as I am a registered user and was signed in and it gave me the same message on the test emails on all of them that I sent from different Email accts.

You can't view the source on the classifieds, but you still can on the post in the forums... if you get real boards you can go to the bearded dragon forum and probably find a close IP of the one that sent that email, it was a dialup account, so its probably not static, but will probably be in the same chain of numbers.

I'm curious, was it in response to the ad with the pictures of the 3 babies? IF it was, he was probably jealous of YOU! I know I am!

No it was a response to a frilled dragon add--basically telling me in not so nice terms that my prices were way too high.
Funny since a dealer had emailed me the day before saying if I had really bred these guys than my prices were really good.
I know they are high for frillies--but there just arent many true captive bred ones out there and I believe they are worth it : )
Within 1/2 hour of the email I got there was someone posting an add looking for CHEAP CBB Frilleds--I was trying to figure out if it was the same person.

Dana.... It's funny you should say that, because, I have also received some very strange emails from phony yahoo accounts.... Telling me, in no uncertain terms, (like yours), that my prices are too high, and a lot of profanity.... I don't know about you, but, I don't even answer them, I just delete them.... I don't deal well with children....
