    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If Neil doesn't have theft insurance, what good does it do to go to the insurance board?  And he asked this himself, but if he has no insurance, why rob himself to get insurance money?  I am just asking.

But overall, I think we all need to calm down, pound a cold one, or six...and...let the week go on and see what you can come up with to prove your point.

We have heard that Neil's dad actually owns the store.  This sounds like Neils father has some financial interest here and most likely is getting some sort of financial payback for his investment.

So if his son and general manager sells some animals then claims they were stolen in a burglary where does the money go?

But how about dead animals that were claimed to have been stolen?  Where does that fit in?

Seriously Neil, what's the deal with those dates?  There has to be some kind of explanation that we can all understand, isn't there?  I guess I'm just dense about this, but I really don't understand the factual information about those reports as they've been posted.

I can speak first hand on this, Neil. It sucks!!! So in that regard, I can relate. But I must tell you, posting Dave's criminal record like that was WRONG and UNCALLED for. Anyone who is familiar with yourself or Dave, knows of his criminal record. As well as yours. What is done is done. Let me ask you this- Are you saying we should hold your record against you? Or better yet, want to hold mine against me? Yes, I have a criminal record. I've made my share of mistakes. But I moved on, Neil. Are you saying because of Dave's record, he is guilty and not credible? Then why can't people say the same about you? Why are you not to be held accountable? For some time now, I have been stressing to others the criticalness of tact, candor, and conduct. How you present yourself is how you will be judged. I have considered you both a friend and a good guy here. And I still am not willing to condemn you. However, your recent conduct is raising questions in not only my eyes but others as well. I'll admit it. I don't want it to be true. But be forewarned, if I see credible evidence of your deliberately deceiving and misleading US, I will gladly toss you to the wolves (in a manner of speaking only). If you are innocent, I am glad. If you are guilty, not only have you lost credibility with me, but you have lost my trust as well. Granted, this is not all cut and dry. But there are questions, being you are the figurehead, that you need to and must answer. As a dealer in the reptile industry, you have to be held to higher standards than most. Because any of your dealings could directly affect other dealers as well as buyers. Same holds true for Dave and all other dealers/sellers. I'll be honest. I see alot of discrepancies on both yours and Dave's fault. But I see this as well- A lot of people are giving both you and Dave the benefit of the doubt here. Some are even willing to forgive a mistake if admitted. However, I think everyone's chance to save face is rapidly ebbing. Pretty soon, innocent or not, it won't matter. Both of you will be deemed as dishonest and not to be trusted or dealt with. Regardless of guilt or innocence. So keep this in mind, Neil. I speak the truth. I truly wish you the best of luck in this matter. Think about it.

Am I to assume that you intended that comment toward myself, the others who have asked you similar questions, or both?  I understand the need to keep quiet if there is something that you have to say which can be misconstrued in some way, but surely setting the facts straight on the dates can't be an integral part of some legal strategy.  After all, YOU posted the dates first, then ammended them, and neither listing appears to "jive" with a burglary taking place anywhere near 12/15-16/01.  All Dave did was post what he says was a confirmation of the dates you also posted (he also noted the same inconsistency mentioned above).

You know, Neil, you didn't see the search for verifiable facts by myself or others on the BOI as a "lust for blood" when we were rightly questioning Dave's assertions when they were presented without factual backup.  Why is it now a "lust for blood" simply because we all want to be fair and even-handed in this matter?  You've asked us all to believe you over Dave, and while Dave was simply making assertions without proof, I was willing to do so, because he was on the attack and had the burden of proof.  Now, a real instance of documentation (provided first by you) has arisen, and you have refused to make the descrepencies clear for us all.  As far as I'm concerned, you now have the burden of proof laid firmly upon your shoulders, and I truly hope you will take the time to explain why it is that those dates do not match what you reported to us all about your burglaries.

You can say that you will not do this because of your attorney's advice.  It may well be that you will win the decision you seek against Dave.  I kind of doubt it, though.  Libel cases are REALLY hard to prove (it's more than just proving a falsehood, it has to be proven to be a known lie told with the intent to do actual harm), AND the damage done by the libel is even HARDER to prove (sales are off after this fiasco?  In order to claim damages against Dave, you have to PROVE that it was due to his postings and NOT because of a national recession/global concern over terroristic attacks/etc).  

However, given the way you have responded to those of us who have hoped you would answer real questions pertinent to the issue at hand, I wonder if you will find the cost of this tactic greater than anticipated.
 
This is bizarre.  
Seems that Dave started with the criminal record calling first, and we as readers  could chose or chose not to read the posted record of Dave by Neil.  It was a link that needed clicking.  So it was on the readers judgment.  Another thing No proof has yet been posted that Neil had anything to do with this.
This is par for this BOI  to throw some one to the wolves.  
This has all gotten OUT OF HAND.

and for several post after would make remarks about me not posting it and then he posted his and in one post said he only did a couple months and then in another said that he had to do a year.But we know that he was confused ,he would never lie.But I have these reports I have to get them posted or I could e-mail them to each and everyone of you.
 
You can post all the reports the same way you post a quoted statement. All you have to do is copy and paste.
 
I have found this thread to be very amusing. A lot of finger pointing and bringing up past transgressions. My question is to both Neil and Dave. You two have been friends for some time I take it, so you must have known about each others criminal records and character yet you continued to be friends. Why does the past matter to you now? Why do those criminal records suddenly play such a strong part in your relationship? Dave, you say that Neil has told you about how he cheated people in the past (I am not saying I do or do not believe it). What does that say about your character? You knew this and kept quiet about it. Did you laugh about it along with Neil? The way you both have conducted yourselves in this thread says a lot about your characters. But the most telling is the way you, Neil, speak to people in your emails. To jump on someone because they call you on something and ask for you to explain yourself in the exact same way everyone has been doing with Dave and anyone else whose story has inconsistencies, speaks volumes.  You cannot continue to stand on your past reputation when facts such as dates that you posted yourself are inconsistent. A lot of us stood beside you and sent you money even though we did not know you. As I told you in the reply to your private e-mail, I am not after you. But I'm not after Dave Lawson either, I guess we are all after the truth. So far you have both done more harm to each other images than anyone could have ever done on purpose. As you say maybe by the end of the week we will have the answers. But you probably remember this quote:

..."WE DON'T LIKE PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO HIDE"...

Those were your exact words in a 2002 post where you jumped in defense of Dave Lawson.

What i would like to see is something in HARD COLD  writing i hafta go with majority here and say that all this "school yard " drama is uncalled for .. isnt it much easier to post facts and let them speak bounds and leaps for your cause ? then to make airless accusations and wait for results?i think most will agree and have already  that what anyone posts here on 99.9% of people is taken with a grain of salt and a few shots of knowledge. So let the personell beef with the two of ya ride the back burner and only POST something that will end this hopla rather then drag out the Days of our Lives"
