    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have been served....with a cease and desist,Well I will tell the true and That is that.

Neil and his attorney also want me to pay them $200.00 for my own photo.Well they were on loan to Neil his own employee will tell you and any judge that and now that you put a price on them I figure Neil owes me $1,200.00 since he admitted to taering them up and there was seven photos and I had one returned to me.

I got 1 problem with some of your ideas.  Your saying Neil is pissed because the PI made him a lead suspect, so Neil hired his own?  Did you ever think that maybe Neil hired his own because the PI won't divulge his report to anyone.  And as far as Neil paying for the original report, why should he?  He didn't hire the guy, he didn't sign a contract with him.  It was a charity thing in my eye's.  Thats like saying if a kid from the special olympics gets hurt he can sue someone that donated to it.  It doesn't make sense.  Now if all the money that was donated went to Neil, and he hired the PI, then yeah, he should pay.  But thats not the case.  Honestly if I was in Neils position, I would hire a new PI since the original one seems to be as worthless as tits on a boar.
 
I will be honest with you,I have shown several points that Neil has not told the truth and it does not seem to matter,So why should I or anyone bother to post anything when it is not going to matter.Some people on this board don't seen to mind that Neil has been less than honest with them.Has Neil shown any proof what so ever? NO,True I have not shown proof on most of what I have said but I did however show that he did Lie about the case #'s and he FINALLY admitted to no filed one for the Dec. robbery but some people say that ok.I have shown what I have to the proper people in Tallahassee so I know I can sleep a little better,Neil did tell the truth about the Detective not carring to much about what I had to say and he told me his reasons and I did agree with him.


What is the use of having show anything it does not matter,Once Neil files his lawsuit he will set a path that will close down this and any site like it,But that will be my fault to , I guess.Neil is some people's ICON AND FOR THAT REASON HE CAN DO NO WRONG.
 
Remember Neil Knows that if it does exist, it is not favorable to him (he said it himself)...So does his father.  As a matter of fact....I can bet my life that the PI wrote to or called Neil's father telling him what he supected.   Why else would Neil say he found out when he talked to his father.


Neil, did the PI talk to your father?  If so did he or did he not supect you?

Dave, stop whining and go to court...let a third party settle this, because you and Neil obviously cannot.

Watching all this blather has desensitized me to the whole damn thing...at this point I don't much care who is right and who is wrong, I would just like it to end so that we can all get on with our lives. There are more important things to worry about (like hatchlings, rent, car payments, work, significant other, etc.)

Correct me if I am wrong (I'm sure someone will)But didn't Neil say that he never bought a adult Boa with Ben?With that Question ask,Neil if the answer is no why did you give the Insurance adjuster a reciept saying that you paid $4,000.00 for 1.1 adult albino boas from Ben ? Funny thing is if you never bought any large boas from Ben then why did you tell the insurance man you did?Do not worry you case has top priority so he said.
 
just for the recors-neil did buy a pair of albino yearling boas from me-the first ones i ever owned years ago-i have never sold a larger normal boa to Neil-Ben Siegel
 
Ben,The reciept said 1.1 Adults Albino Boas and it was dated for Nov.2001.It was on a 3x5 reciept not name on the header only sold to Neil Gubitz,THE SNAKE PIT WITH YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE BOTTOM.i WILL CALL YOU ABOUT IT.
 
With all the posting on this thread I have lost track of what the "facts" in this whole mess are.  Could someone (not one of the main parties involved such as Neil or Dave) post what the "facts" are. Here is what I can remember.
1. Neil's store was burglarized on more than one occassion.
2. No one has been proven to be the one who committed the crimes.
3. A lot of people on this forum donated money to hire a private investigator to investigate the December burglary.
4. The money has dissapeared. (who took it again?)
5. The private investigator did not finish his work but Rich paid for the report which no one has seen yet.
6. Neil has hired a lawyer who has served Dave with a cease and disist order.
7. Dave has hired a lawyer.
8. Neil asked Julie to keep some of his snakes safe because he was convinced he was going to be burglarized again but she did not help him out. (that whole part confuses me).
9. Police reports have been made on some of the burglaries. Do we know exactly which ones and when they were filed?
10. Insurance claims were filed and paid on some of the burglaries. Once again, do we know which ones? And does it even matter?
11. Neil had the police reports in his possession, then lost one. (Is that correct?)
12. Angie works for Neil as an employee and had nothing to do with the burglaries. (why she was ever mentioned I forget).
13. Neil has a very poor memory. This was backed up by Ben Seigel who has no axes to grind here.
14. Past criminal histories have been brought up which have no real bearing on this thread.
15. People are at eachothers throats over things said in this thread in anger/confusion/frustration. Most of these are people who really have nothing to do with it except that we were the ones who donated money and want some answers.

I am sure we have all said things we wish we hadn't at some point but can't retract now. I would like to see just facts posted and the bickering between fellow herpers to end. We should respect eachother more than this. One of our own has had a terrible thing happen, someone is guilty and we don't know for "certain" who it is. Some have their opinions and they may be based on some circumstantial evidence but is it fact and can it be proven. Reputations have been masacred here and for what? Think about it.

Kindly refrain from referring to Angie as "Hottie", it is offensive and unnecessary even if you are using it in your own flattering way.  I too felt your comments were implying that Neil and Angie had a "thing" going on.

On another note...
You expect Neil to provide proof yet seem to require none for your self in determining who is the culprit. It seems that most of the points you make in regard to Neil assume his guilt?

Neil has shouted it from the hilltops that he has a bad memory, Ben Seigel himself has confirmed this but you still see having a bad memory as an automatic excuse for a lie.

I'm sorry, we may not all have your special powers of deduction but how does not remembering something then having someone trigger your memory make you a liar? Too many of Neil's supposed "lies" can simply be explained by either having a bad memory or not having the ability to explain him self clearly and to your liking.

I'm sure that if I had the reputation that Neil has earned I would be doing EVERYTHING I could to protect it, including getting a lawyer! Just because I may not be able to articulate myself clearly does not mean I forfeit the right to explain my position.

I figure that this will probably entitle me to an ear bashing from you, but I refuse to be intimidated by your well known status.

I believe he told Jackie Laprad to "take a midol" and Jackie is a man. This could have ALL been avoided if Neil had been more forthcoming with his facts[QUOToo many of Neil's supposed "lies" can simply be explained by either having a bad memory or not having the ability to explain him self clearly and to your liking.
TE]<! The "supposed "'lies'" are things that Neil stated as FACT that were later proven to be untrue. Neil dug this hole with his own shovel and it started when he made accusations that his "good friend" was involved with his burglary. "WHAT ARE FREINDS FOR?"..
 
I was just e-mailed a post that was in the old B.O.I. that shows that the Albino Boa that Neil claims was stolen in the Dec./2001 robbery was sold to a person named Damion Wyatt on 12/6/2001.I am not going to post the name of the person the sent it to me,If he want it known he can tell you.Like I said go to the old B.O.I. and you will see lots of Neil's "confussions".

There is an older movie out there that is somewhat similar to this thread. Note: somewhat. I truly think that everyone here should take a few minutes to watch it. The movie is called: Twelve Angry Men. It's a real eye-opener. As this fiasco progresses, I am further reminded of this movie.

How did you come to that conclusion? I thought he sounded like a person unwillingly dragged into this (by his girlfriend)that then turned and decided to make it more interesting for Neil. Got a bug in his bed and now won't let go cause his ego is too big and his girlfriend might deny him some fun if he looks like he might not back her anymore. Kinda like wading in too deep and realising you can't head back and have no choice but to push through.

I'm sorry I don't remember anything about the condition of his store before the manager came to work for him, must have been before my time here. I do however remember people came forward to say they had been to the snakepit recently and it was fine. The original poster in that thread was just a troll if I remember correctly?

As you can see I have only posted a few times here, but always come here because it was such a beautiful family. A place that I found comfort. It was as if we were all one. There are bad ones but same goes in any family but we stuck together. People on this forum that seemed so very close are now out for blood. Please answer me one question, what happened to my family? We are no longer together, we are no longer close. I know very few of you but it is if I have known all of you forever. I have learned so much from you. I want to smile and laugh again.
