    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

While in Tampa my husband and I drove over to check out The Snake Pit.  We were surprised to find Neil STANDING at his counter greeting us with a smile.  We walked around the store and checked out all the animals.  Yes, I will admit not all the tanks were spotless...but if you keep colubrids you know that as soon as you clean the cage and put them back they laugh at you and take a  dump as soon as they hit the floor.  I've experienced that many times.  Never found any dead animals rotting away anywhere but did find some very beautiful and photogenic creatures.  With camera in hand I clicked off a few pics, was even able to capture the love and loyalty of his dog Tinker.  She was a sweetie but a bit confused after the operation.  Sorry Neil, you knew I would post that one.  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>   We watched many a happy customer walk in and out of the store while there.  Here is the link to the pictures if you are interested in taking a look.

BTW Neil, the jokes are going over very well here in Indiana.  Thanks for the laughs.

Well I have fianlly seen it for myself ....... Today I drove 317 miles to do business with Neil and buy an emerald tree boa he had for sale...... Well unfortunately we did not do any business because the animal in question was simply not big enough ..... oh well, schmidt happens.  But I have to comment on Neil his staff and his store.  When I arrived I did not introduce myself I said I was just looking around so no one would try to beef up the place or impress me.  No one had to try to impress me, that happened all on its own.  Neil you were very cordial and your sense of humor is soon to become infamous !  The store was clean, cages were decorated and set up very well, all done by Angie who does one hell of a job !!!!!  Neil pay her more !!!, animals were fat and healthy and in good shape and now that I was there and saw for myself that mystical place known as the snake pit .... I can finally truly believe all the posts I have read here.  Neil I hope this post helps clear up some opinions expressed by some fools with a keyboard prior to this ..... and I will send you my bill for the endorsement.

Neil, I will be down sometime this summer...don't know when...but I'll have a hidden camera doing an undercover report for Herps Undercover...The Real Story! You don't know when or where...ok maybe you know where we'll show up...lol...but you still don't know when. Or who we are. Ok...you know my name. But you still don't know when. Ok...so you know it will be this summer sometime. But that is all the info I will give you. Don't ask for anymore for we are undercover! Herps Undercover is on the loose! If we dare see one piece of S**T in that place, not including you of course, you're busted! By the way, we went out to the forest today and found a water snake that musked all over us! And guess where that snake is now? Well...it was left where we found it. The point is we did not like it one bit so be careful. If you musk on us we might just do the same to you as we did to that water snake. You have been warned! LOL

Remember, I WAS expecting you?? I let you walk around the store to your heart's content, and when you finally came up to the front counter...what did I say?? "Is your name Gary"??
So everyone else knows....I felt SO BAD that gary took that log drive for nothing...I would NEVER have asked him to take the ride and see the Emmy for himself HAD I KNOWN that...INSTEAD of living in the Hollywood, Florida that's about one half hour from me...which is where I THOUGHT he lived!! He ACTUALLY LIVES in the Hollywood, Florida about 4 HOURS from me!! OUCH!! I felt so bad, I took him to lunch at Denny's!! (Big spender, huh?) hahaha

Now, here's the kicker....Gary is being VERY KIND TO ME!! The TRUTH of the matter is the Male Emmy in question, wasn't just too small...he is STILL not up to perfect health yet, either! He's STILL a little dehydrated, and has a SLIGHT case of mouthrot....which, with the GREATLY APPRECIATED HELP from Gary, I NOW KNOW how to help my baby!! I will ALWAYS thank him for that!! Obviously....he could have ripped me a new one o this site for "making" him drive 4 hours to see a snake that he wouldn't touch in a month of Sundays! Instead....what does he do?? EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE! All he was interested in was the well-being of the Emmy! The man is a GENUINE humanitarian!! That shows SO MUCH CLASS on his part!! It makes me, once again, like the human race!! Gary...seriously...thank you very much, you have no idea what that meant to me! ....Neil
You've DEFINITELY made a friend in Tampa!!
