    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have been visiting this site for a long time now and it makes me sick to see what is going on.  There seems to be a group of people that are trying to maniptulate this site to their advantage if you go against their ideas or anything they say they viciously attack you with no remorse.  Most of the time they post their opinions as fact and have no proof to back it.  Because they are so tightly nit they all come to each others defense even if the person they are defending is 100% wrong.  They like to post on this site because nobody is monitoring them and they have all the freedom they need to talk crap about anybody and eveybody.  Here are a few of the people I am talking about:

These are the ones that are really pissing me off, Rob and Neil Both sell animals at top dollar and the condition is less than satisfactory

Ivan claims to be this top notch vet but only has a limited amount of experience most of it comming within the last year.

This site has alot of potential, but if you are a new consumer looking to find out  information on people you plan to purchase from, my advise to you is to take each post with a grain of salt and call the person your going to deal with to see for yourself what kind of person they are.

P.S There are alot of good companies on this board that have been slammed with no proof, so just do your homework before you do business with people.
 
Posts should contain your full name to avoid having webslave delete it.  Don't chalk this up to censorship if the thread is removed since you did not follow the explicit instructions of the board even though you have been coming here for such a long time.
 
Dear Gambino, granted this site may have its difficulties, but substantially less than Kingsnake or other sites. Their may also be more bandwagon responses, but in many cases, valid points are made. Your remarks about Neil however I find bothersome and appears to be more than just a casual remark. As much as I may disagree with you, its ironic that this forum allows you the opportunity to speak your mind and you seem to want to prevent others from doing the same.

I have dealt with both and have no complaints. They delivered what they offered at the price agreed. As far as the price goes it is their prerrogative to ask whatever they feel their animals are worth. It is your option to buy from them or not.

We would have to assume you have also dealt with both and have proof of what you are saying. If not it's just your opinion, not backed by facts which is what you are criticizing of them.

I have noticed on alot of other post that you are always right behind Rob & Neil, so i was not surprised to see that you were one of the first to defend them.  Before you post your next response  you may what to wipe the brown stuff off the tip of your nose.

But I was wondering if you have anything to back up your opinions?
Because you accused the rest of them of posting their opinions as fact without proof.....then you go do it yourself.

But go ahead and add me to the list if you want.
It is your right to post your opinions and no one should try and stop you.  But you should at least let them exercise the same rights you are exercising.

And try not to accuse me of brown nosing.....I post what I think.....not what people want to hear or expect to hear.

      I really can't agree with you much on these points however they are of course 'opinion'.  I do agree with you that both Neil and Rob post quite more often than the average BOI cruiser.  I don't know Ivan but have heard great things about him.  I do believe it is their right to post as often as they like if they are making relavence to a thread even if it is opinionated.  Just as I think you have the right to post what you feel.  But again I can't agree with you saying Rob sells at top dollar prices with conditions being less than satisfactory.  I only mention Rob as I have only purchased from him, multiple times.  I also believe both Rob and Neil may deserve some slack when posting and do hold some recognition to this site.  Just humor me on this point and go to this sites homepage, click on the part in the upper left hand corner where it says Faunaclassified supporters.  You'll notice first and sixth on the list both Rob and Neil's businesses.  Both being original supporters when this site changed to the new present format.  I have met Neil and been in his store and found it more than satisfactory especailly when comparing it to other Pet Stores.  I have also been to Robs home and facility and purchased MANY high quailty reptiles time and time.  Im a man who believes in fact so im going to do nothing but post pics of a few Chameleons I got directly from Rob and you tell me if they are in less than satisfactory condition.  Anyhow just my 2 cents on this whole "truth to the BOI thread".  Take care.....Mike
 
Gambino, if you want your words to carry any kind of weight you need to answer the questions put to you by others, rather than trying to deflect them as you just did.  Have you proof of the substandard quality of Rob and Neil's animals?  

Also, I am very interested in knowing who is on this list of conspirators.  Please, provide us with the full list.

  I am going to take Neil's position in this and respect your opinion as you are 100% entitled to one. I have never purchased and animal from Neil or Rob but I have never heard of any problems with their animals. As far as your accusations (opinions)towards me, well I don't know where to start. I have no idea who you are and I have never even exchanged any conversations with you. I have never considered myself a "Top-notch" Vet as you called me, but I do know my reptile medicine and surgery and I do know a lot about chameleons. I have posted only on a few threads in this BOI and I can back all my opinions/accusations 100%. This is a place where info is exchanged for the benefit of the community. If my comments offended you or any of your friends, I am sorry as I am posting here only to give my point of view in situations (just like everyone else). I am far from being in a "bandwagon" or "group" as you can see how many posts I have contributed here. I guess you should write everyone else's name in your list since everyone posts here for good reviews or bad reviews.
  Anyone reading your post should also take your opinions "like a grain of salt" because you are also accusing some of us here without the slightest idea of what you are talking about and obviously with some kind of personal vendetta.
 
I have never done business with any of them, so I can not speak for the animals they sell.  I do agree with the fact that alot of good people are slammed on the BOI.  And alot of this is from people that have no idea about the person, they simply jump to conclusions off of one person's post.  I have dealt with hundreds of people, only had a couple that I had problems with,  it only takes one person to post on the BOI and everyone else to jump in that have nothing to do with the situation, but assume they know the facts, and POOF! You lose all the business and you are pretty much bent over.  That is my only real problem with the BOI and THE PEOPLE THAT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS WITHOUT KNOWING THE TRUTH.

This is a male Veiled Chameleon I purchased from Rob @ RK Reptiles over a year ago when this pic was taken.  The Chameleon is still alive and well and fathered over 100 babies for me.

This is a male Montuim Chameleon also puchased from Rob at RK Reptiles.  This Chameleon was in top health when I purchased it, AND when I sold it to a local family whom has nothing but praise for us selling them such a healthy animal.

I have also gotten a nice Graceful chameleon that was a great pet for us!  Pic is availible by email if anyone would like it.  

Here is one last pic for kicks of a baby hatching from a female Veiled we purchased from Rob.  The mother laid 44 eggs for us in that clutch and had a very high hatch sucess rate.

I believe every animal I have recieved wether bought or traded from Rob has been Top Quality and at a great price.  Again only my 2 cents.........

First off I have never done business with you that I can recall.  Yes you have the right to express your OPINIONS all you want and I have no problem with that at all. I will say this to everyone that reads this thread, I stand behind my animals and my customers know this and love my quality of animals.  Something I find funny about this, we all know this is regards to the Chameleon Condo thread, as that is the only thread that Ivan has posted about.  And Mike is from Chameleon Condo is the only person that has had a complaint against me.

And here I am posting after Neil. It is obvious that you are new to this site. I would re-direct you to some of the older threads just to read our past arguments with Neil. If you have trouble finding them I can do that for you. I have disagreed with Neil in multiple ocassions and probably will continue to do so, as we see things differently. But that has absolutely nothing to do with his animals or his business. I'm sorry you feel that way and it is obvious that you didn't take the time to read some of the past history. Anyways this thread probably belongs to the discussion section if at all. There is no grounds for it to be here.

The whole purpose of this thread is to try to get people to think a little about what they write about someone, before they post.

Rob and Neil,
I used the two of you as examples, to show what happens when someone posts. Everyone gets upset,and has something to say.
