    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello,

For some odd reason Fauna Classifieds is not letting me go the category I'm after(in which case the Amphibians group). Instead I get all these junk ads which have nothing to do with this website. What is going on with this website? Did someone put a virus in it or something. If an Admin could look at things and then tell me what is going on, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks and have a great day.
 
If you are referring to the Amphibians classifieds forum, I am able to access it just fine. Just click on the link.

As for ads, well, they are from Google Adsense. Apparently this platform utilizes them a lot differently than the old vBulletin platform did. I have asked my programmer to set it up whereby they will not be visible to paying members, but I haven't heard back from him about that. But for regular members, sorry, the ads are what now pay the bills here. Memberships and advertisers have dropped off considerably. My FaunaAds.com website is no more because it was not compatible with the operating system of the new server and the original developer have long ago abandoned that script. Sorry, but something needs to pay the bills here of the site just gets the plug pulled on it. Very simple black and white fact of life. No one gives me the stuff needed to keep this site running for free.
 
Click on amphibians then click close on ad and you'll be in the amphibian forum.
 
Speaking about the ads here. I have asked my programmer to reinstate the function where paying members are not exposed to all the ads. So I AM working on it.
 
This should be enabled now. I don't want to say ALL adds are removed for paying members, but I think the greater majority of them are now gone. I know it is MUCH better for me right now. I was just gritting my teeth and bearing it, but I honestly don't like all the ads, neither. But if it comes between having to put up with the ads, or closing down FaunaClassifieds, well, I hoped I was making the right choice.
 
Yes much cleaner now Rich. Don't worry, about time you get this running 100% they'll update and it starts over, lol. I ran a large forum years ago and never ending.
