    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not having experienced the summer in the states for awhile ( I seem to get stuck with Iraqi summers and N NY winters) I never had the chance to take my Oustalets and his cage outside for sun.

Well I finally realized that the sun and heat that most people are whining about is just the thing for my restless chameleon. I realized that with me tearing down my big enclosure that my yellow monitor was in also eliminated the artificial sun (2x250W bulbs) that the cage needed. So my electricity bill went down but so did the light given off from it. I think he had been trying to get to the far window and the light from it. Otherwise he had never been much of a screen climber at all. Now he is back to normal.

He is now outside for the day. Yes, part sun and part shade. I learned that lesson as a kid when mom put my turtle outside and I came home to find it baked. So far now Caesar is enjoying the short N NY summer while I start on his new cage. Bumping him form a 4'Hx2'W'2'D to a 5'Hx3'W'2'D. This brings his sqare footage up from 16 sq ft to 30 sq ft.

Just goes to show that a warm blooded creatures bad weather can be a cold blooded creatures heaven.
