    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does anyone name their beardies by sticking to a theme???

I know a few people who name all of the beardies after Disney characters. Or they name them after mythological gods and goddesses.

Any cool names out there chosen because of a theme???
 
We don't name our dragons by theme, they just kind of earn their names. Like when we bought our first three, one was growing much faster than the rest so we named him Mondo. And the little clear nail hypomelanistic we just bought earned the name of Blondie because she was chasing her tail thinking it was food! We are going to watch out for her eating her tail. (She will PROBABLY only catch it once though . . . :ack2: )

Themes

Well, I have some themed names and some that are not. When I first had my geckos they were all named after gemstones. Onyx, Citrite, Alexandrite, Amber, and the like. Got some dragons named Sampson, Delilah, Cain, Abel, you get the drift. Our dobermans were named Diablo and Malachi. But only so many of those themed names to go around, so I started naming after physical traits or behaviors. Such as Freaky, Rave (short for Ravenous), Tiger (for a Flaming Tiger), Big Red. Hmm also a dragonball Z fan so I have Chi Chi, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Broli for dragons. SO I have some themes, but not one sole theme for everyone.
 
Well, I can't say that I have ever went by a theme for naming any of my animals...

But I did go through a short "Tombstone" phase where I now have Doc the Boa & Wyatt the Beardie. :)
 
i gues my two dragons go by a theme... my female's name is mo my male's name is jo
i dont know if you saw it but mojo maby its stupid but i thought it was funny when i got them...!!!
 
you decide if i have a theme. blackbeard the bonecrusher. sapphire,diamond,re' (egyptian god of the sun), osiris (egyptian god of the underworld), lemonade,strawberry,peaches, (All do to their coloration) and we also have cyclops ( due to a minor birth defect he actually i think its a she has a patch of skin over her eye. our leopard geckos merlin, morgana, lestat,lilith,sunshine,dawn,midknight,moonshine,and dandelion
 
I love my tv shows so I named my two females Buffy and Angel and my male it Spike.lol
 
my male beardie is called stoner, so the new little female is called MJ (mary jane). all my leos have names from areas in pakistan. the bps are called goldy and amber and the pacman is called moreno(spanish for pig). my dogs are named taliesin and dhuiane, welsh and irish names.
