In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

TheRealKrafty aka Allen Kraft has an ad listed in the Ball Pythons Classifieds with a photo that is not his. He has the snake listed as a Mimosa for $900 but the picture is from Exotics by Nature (Sean Bradley) for a Baja listed at $7500.

Why is everyone criticizing me? I simply used a photo that looks similar to my Mimosa because my camera was not working but I sold her for $800 so I guess the jokes on you guys for doubting me

It's uncanny, just how many people manage to magically sell the item in question, so shortly after a BOI thread shows just how shady they are. I guess the honest people are going about things in the wrong way. The secret to successful sales is clearly using stolen pictures to misrepresent the snake.

The main problem here Allen, is that you posted the ad with the picture, with no indication whatsoever that this was merely a representation photo, nor was it mentioned where you got the photo from.
If you had stated you found a photo online that looks remarkably like your girl, that would be different, but only if you didn't know who the photo came from.
When you know where the photo came from, you are supposed to ask the breeder permission to use it and explain your situation that your camera is not working.

That would be at least a start, however anyone inquiring about the animal would still want to see photos, especially knowing that it is marked as $7,500 elsewhere and being such a massive price difference, people would (and should) inquire for more photos and information. ;)

I'm not sure how "the joke is on us all" for you misrepresenting an animal. I understand if you don't have a working camera, but there are legal ways to go about using someone else's photo and there are more ways NOT to go about it.

No matter how much you try and sugar coat the situation, the fact is that you stole a photo from Sean...That's a big no-no

Yeah...Stealing photos is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE. I would think twice about doing that again. You also need to think about how this makes you appear. I personally won't buy from you because I don't care for your business practices (aka stealing photos). I can't trust that the animals in your ads are actually the animals. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this view point. You can easily lose business by making crappy business decisions and working unethically.

Seriously? Give me a break!

You claimed you got your very first BP back in May and even posted a photo. You got your second one, albino female right after that and posted shots of her, too.
I believe you used a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 to take those photos.

At that same site, between the beginning of May to your last post, you asked the most basic snake questions about general husbandry, temps, mites and breeding such as:

5-7: "What is the 1.0 and 0.1 number in front of people's signatures about their Ball Pythons? Please help and thanks!"

5-7: "Also, what is the difference between Albino and HET Albino?"

5-7: "I am wondering if being Albino is dominant OR recessive... Can anyone tell me like what traits (such as piebald, pinstripe, spider) are dominant and recessive?"

Now you expect us to believe you actually own a Mimosa to sell, but your camera is broken so you stole a photo of a Not-A-Mimosa? And you sold a Mimosa for $800.00?

Yeah, I saw that same "my camera is broken so I used EBay's picture" on some watch forum when you posted (in April) a shot of a Seiko watch you claimed to own and were later questioned about.

I don't think that pic is him. If you type TheRealKrafty into google A LOT comes up. Looks like he uses the same username for every site he's on. According to his mylife page he's 22.

He also bought "Bubbles" at PetSmart.

Is he even old enough to run ads? His picture on his photobucket 'me in my kitchen' seems to be of someone very young.
http://s41.photobucket.com/user/bballcheez27/profile/

That could be an old account since he has a photo album entitled "MySpace". MySpace is old stuff, I think.

Here is what I believe to be his more current PhotoBucket that has the photos he posted at that other site.

Note the "Mimosa" has been uploaded to that account and photos of the female albino (Luna) that he posted when he had concerns about those basic questions about husbandry, tank size, temps, mites, etc.

He also has an ad for 2 Albino females (and references the "sold Mimosa"), yet his very current sig at that other site clearly shows he owns only one female snake (and someone had to suggest he change his sig to reflect that).

I dunno ... trying to pull a fast one?

I admit, I deceived... I profusely apologize to everyone. I have only owned a male normal and a female albino. At least I am man enough to admit it.

What do you feel terrible about? That you were caught or that you stole someone's photo and then tried to sell an animal you don't own and scam someone? And no "not at least you are man enough to admit it". You did not admit it you where caught red handed. Just shameful.
