    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That is not going to happen any longer. Edits have been disabled in the auction section.

But we're all getting quite a bit off topic here. This really shouldn't be the place to discuss the mechanics and logistics of the auctions. I believe I have a thread about the auctions in the Feedback Forum, so let's take this discussion there, shall we?
 
No he has not contacted me nor paid. I think we should keep the normal boi and not start a new section. Someone who doesn't pay therefore doesn't care about there reputation and if they don't pay for one animal when they won it,they'll probably do it again or at least try. Yes it might clog the boi up but at least everyone won't overlook it
 
I contacted the bidder, and gave them 24 hours to make this right with the seller or they will be banned. No I don't normally get involved in issues of this nature, but I just recently started the auction section and would like it to become popular with the membership. This sort of thing puts a blight on that attempt, and I really don't appreciate this sort of nonsense going on.

And no, I am NOT going to get involved in all such issues in the future. At least not in any instances where it is not clearly a black and white issue.
 
Well, I didn't have to wait 24 hours.

After I told this guy that he needed to make an auction right with a seller that he bid on and apparently welched on it (claimed his son made the bid :rolleyes: ), or be banned, replied with a PM stating this nonsense:

So he has been banned for a year.
 
Incidentally, there is a new registration in the approval queue with the name of "Dick schmellz". Email address is "[email protected]", and the name in the profile for this account is "Nick Fadeley" from Hamburg, NY. Placed a little comment saying "The auctions suck", so I think this about says it all about this situation.

And for the record, Nick Fadeley is apparently listed as a partner with Liam Barlow and also has an account here under "ballsFTW". That account has been banned as well.
 
That is so sad, someone waltzing in and being a deadbeat and then getting ugly about it. Obviously he does not realize that this is a small world, getting smaller every day with Google and whatnot and he has :shoot foot big time.

Brendon I'm sorry you had to go through this aggravation, I love auctions and I want these here to succeed.
 
Good stuff Rich. And thank you for giving the auctions a chance knowing the headaches to come. I agree Lucille....when i get my financial foot out the gutter i cant wait to see these auctions really succeed to gr. Brandon. Sorry this happened.
