In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

they're finally here!

the long awaited arrival of my first two geckos ever has come! they got here this morning about an hour ago and seem to be doing well so far. i've already taken a bunch of pics so here are a few of my favorites. unfortunately due to the size restrictions, i had to cut down the pics a lot.
the names i decided on are sasha and tiki (i have no idea lol but i liked them) but i'm going to wait and get a feel for their personalities before i decide who's who.
how long do you think i should wait until i offer them food?

they are very cute and nice pics of those sweet little faces.

As for feeding, if you are feeding mealies I would go ahead and put them in the dish, some will eat right out of the box while exploring their new home.

If you are feeding crix, Id wait until tonight since they are nocturnal, you don't want he crix aggravating them all day if they don't eat them.

They are lovely!!! Congratulations! I agree with Wendy, but don't be too concerned if they aren't interested in food for a few days while they become familiarized with their new environments.

Congratulations Lindsay! They are going to be the first of many you get. Trust me you’ll get more… it happened to all of us. :D

Congrats on your first babies! It is addicting so I am sure we will be seeing more pics of new Leos!
That one pic looks almost like the one is looking in a mirror at her image! Great shots!

Congrats on your new geckos! They are gorgeous, and I agree, probably the first of many. They look very healthy and happy!

it's going to be interesting to see what happens when i graduate from college and have my own apartment because i love animals and would have a house-full if i could! i can certainly see myself getting addicted in the future :)
hopefully once they're adjusted and well rested i'll get some more good pics that i can post. i'm still so excited!

Ain't that the truth!?! LOL....I was only going to get ONE...but ended up rescuing Gilean at the same time I got Aurora. I'm now expecting #7 to arrive in 2 - 3 weeks!

Thank goodness for my mealworm farm - these babies can really pound them down!

i put in a few crickets tonight to see if they were interested, but wanted to get them out before i went to bed because sasha & tiki didn't seem too interested. i give geckos props because those crickets are so fast! i had a hell of a time with the wooden feeding tongs trying to catch 'em :uzi:
in the end i got 3 of the 4, but i had to give up on the last one. phew. i hope it's ok to leave it in there because i had already spent so much time catching the other 3 :slamit:
i can't wait to see them eat. maybe i'll pick up a few tips hehe
