    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This a good deal?

Looks like a rodent rack, to me. Unheated.
This is the pic he tried to post

No watering system and used pans? They're what, five bucks for new ones? That sounds a bit high to me.

Oh im sorry I wasnt clear! Yes, its a rat rack. :p
I thought it sounded high, i mean yeah the tubs are like $6.50 each here.

You also have to think about " can I build that". I built mine looks ok does it's job. But I'm at a point now I can pay someone. Another thing do you want the hassle of building one. It was pretty easy to build mine.

Ask him to build a smaller one. I recommend if you are going to breed rats go with the white ones. I find it harder and harder feeding rexs and dumbos and rex dumbos. I never thought i would say that. I have a lot of females that have like 15 to 22 each time. Well whatever you do you picked a great hobby.

Well I sent him an email about making smaller racks for me. Im so short! ;-;

What kind of snakes are you feeding for? I've never heard of those issues before but I can imagine a few snake being picky with fur and size.

You mean PEWs right? Id be careful with breeding high white rats. They are more so prone to carry Megacolon.

I have high end ball pythons some corns a few red tail boas and my favorite my 5 foot 3 lb pig eating yellow anaconda. I have Rex rats curly hair and whiskers. I don't have white rats. My rats eat better then me. I also breed African soft fur rats. There easy to feed all look the same. I have albino asf too. They eat anything I feed them. I mean me I hate feeding them because they look so cool. Bu when they get out of hand you have no choice but gas them or feed them if no one buys them for pets.

I would love to get a hole of some ASFs. Those buggers are amazing.
I feed a basic lab diet mostly Harlan. I throw in millet, dog food and sometime noodles.

I personally would put an ad on craigslist

many guys around who breed their own rats...

breeding rats isn't hard...but there is expense, time, odor, space etc issues to consider.

I did and still have a few up. :C I received one phone call from a reptile store owner, said hed get back to me but never did. I dont have his number anymore either. Bah. IO ahad someone else email saying it would be around $360 for almost the same rack I pictured. Bull crap.

You could build one that is side by side, this way you wouldn't run into the height issue.
