In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is disgusting

This kid has been and still is posting all the time begging for free leopard geckos and a savannah monitor. Now he has an ad in the For Sale section trying to sell some of the worst leopard geckos I've ever seen. Not only that, on the front page of his webpage he is posting a picture of one of Masterpiece Geckos' animals.(yes, I have informed them)Now he is in the chameleon section asking about some veileds. The last thing this kid needs is to have any type of chameleon. They would be dead in a matter of weeks judging by the care he gives his geckos.I have nothing against teenagers keeping herps, but if you can't afford to buy your own animals and care for them properly, don't do it.I fyou want to check them out the site address is:www.geocities.com/randysleos
                                   Thanks,
                                        Josh Duncan

Hehe, good. It was probably Masterpiece Geckos, they told me they would have him stop using their pic.Well now you cant see the pics, but believe me you don't want what he's selling.

Hey I just went to the temporarily down site.It says it is down because it exceeded allocated data transfer.Does this translate to:too many people have visited it in an alotted time?Says it will be back in an hour,if so I'll cut the pics and post them here.

Ahhhh the entreprenurial spirit!!
It drives us to do wrong!
It drives us to fall into sin!

LOL

This kid sounds like her has thrown the rule book away when it comes to selling animals. Whats even more appalling , is that a LOT of MAJOR and MINOR ADULT breeders do the same thing EVERYDAY, selling sick snakes, buying snakes for dirt cheap and turning them without quarantineing them, borrowing and stealing:eek:ther peoples pictures and business names, and lets not forget the ones that claim to have bred snakes, when they just broker.....ahhhh the fun NEVER ends!!
And you thought this kid was bad?
Hes being groomed to fit right in with many of todays reptile breeders and brokers.

LMAO at how immoral our world is

Randy there is nothing wrong with being a newbie.  But do not go asking for unwanted animals....then say you have the best genes.  Do not say your breeders were first pets....because you know they wre not.   Randy you are not a breeder until you actually breed something.  And if you have then I stand corrected.

Please don't use the classifieds as your forum for asking all your questions.  The classifieds are there to sell animals not find breeding questions.  There are other forums for that.  these classifieds were not designed to answer those questions that you have.

It is okay to get free animals.....but it is "kinda not right" to turn around and sell them.   It is also not right to represent them as "the best genes" around when you know nothing about them except they were free, beat up, blind. etc etc etc or what not.

Randy while I do like your enthusiasm....I must say that you are getting started on the wrong foot.  Please be as honest as you can in all your dealings.  It is not too late.  Do not get greedy.  You can still change your ways.

your posts on the classifieds will be erased by this evening.  The only ones I will leave up are the ones that actually sell something.

His site is back up but in case it's not for long here are the available pics.

Dangit, well I tried.Well if someone else is more adept at posting pics than me,have at it.Not sure why it didn't work,I put the jpg url in.Oh well.
                             Josh Duncan

Well looks like he made a new website,Here is the address:
http://hometown.aol.com/pitbull50/page1.html
Check out the availables. The second gecko is in especially bad shape. Not only is it skinny and missing half it's tail but you can see it is having a bad shed. All the toes have skin still stuck to them.Man do your geckos a favor and give them to someone who can care for them. And if by chance these are geckos you took in to due to neglect, etc, you need to get them into prime health before you start selling them.
                                                  Josh Duncan

Ok sorry to post again, but after going through all the pics on his site I have to say something.Listen lepgex14 almost everyone of your leos looks like they are having shedding problems.Close to everyone of them has skin still stuck on their toes and heads. You need to provide your geckos with humid hides. You also might consider misting them when  they go into shed.As far as helping the ones you have now,you need to soak them in shallow water for a bit and try to remove the skin with a Qtip and tweezers once the skin gets soft.Be very careful with their toes. But to avoid this in the future provide humid hides, use a tupperware container with moist moss or vermiculite. You should have known all this before getting any animals. For your geckos sake,go buy The Leopard Gecko Manual. Thanks,
                                Josh Duncan

This is why more and more people are getting bad ideas about buying animals through the internet.  This kid needs to STOP, rethink his situation, and be honest. He needs to remove the Pic of Masterpiece's gecko and stop trying to be something he is not. This kind of behaviour really ticks me off. I hope he is reading this. Your animals Look very skinny, and b-grade or less. I understand you wanting to become a breeder and possibly start a business with Leopard Geckos, but you need to do it correctly and not steal from others.

is this kids email adress something along the lines of pitbull or something like that.  Hes been instant messaging me EVERYDAY beggin for animals, he has no shame about it and he outwardly said hes begging everyone he can find for one of their animals, he even told me he got a few.

Yes his email is [email protected]'m not suprised to hear that at all. He's trying to get free geckos and then claiming to be a breeder and trying to sell some sorry looking animals.

This kid is something else. But then again, so are his supporters. Check this one out. I posted earlier about Randy Here is what I wrote:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Be careful, Ritchie. If you criticize this young man, you may receive nifty little pm's from him like I did. And I wasn't even bagging on him. Only offering advice. First he sends me a pm thanking me for the support. Then he sends one basically telling me off. Be cautious of this one.

Jesse Underhills little brother? You decide.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

Apparently after reading that, I upset someone real good. I guess now I am ridiculing little kids. Here is a PM from a gentleman named Tyler a.k.a. bozemanmt15:

Hey,
Dont you think you have something better to do than post messages ridiculings kids.  I know you may think you're pretty cool posting these messages, but no.  I think you need to grow up a little.  And before you post another one of your cute little messages about me like you did the other kid,  think to yourself, " maybe i'm the loser."

Tyler  </td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

I replied saying:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Hello, Tyler. Glad to see that you have such a high opinion of me. I'll tell you what. Try doing a little research before you call me "immature" and "a loser". I have only had limited interaction with Randy. I read in a thread where someone was bagging on him for being a "youngster". So I replied saying something along the lines of "Hey, give the kid a break. Everyone was a beginner when they started. Just remember, someone once gave you a chance when you were starting out." Later on, I again posted and told Randy to "take any help offered and run with it". Meaning when someone who has experience offers you advice and help, take it use it to your advantage. I wasn't bagging on Randy at all. After reading my first post, Randy sent me a PM saying "thanks for the support". Then after reading my second post, he sent me another PM basically telling me off. I replied in a tactful manner saying "Slow down, big guy. All I was doing was offering advice. Take it how you will.". After that, I have had no further contact. Not once did I ridicule Randy. When I posted regarding him earlier, I was warning Ritchie that he may receive the same type of PM's from Randy. I also made a comparison of Randy to another person. I do not have a problem with kids keeping reptiles or breeding and selling them. I do have a problem with kids not taking care of their animals and misrepresenting them. As well as stealing and advertising peoples' pictures as their own. If you have a problem with that, then it is YOUR problem. And I suggest you deal with it. If I wanted to ridicule Randy, then I would have done so. Trust me, I can be very creative with words. Take care and have a nice day.

Is this message "cute" enough for you?
</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

Seems Tyler liked the message as he replied saying "Yes, your message was very cute.".

John I agree completely with you about youngsters having reptiles.I have no problem with it.I kept reptiles all through my childhood. But unless I had the proper caging, food supply ,etc.I didn't. And I think Ritchie is right,Randy it's not too late to change your ways. You need to learn the proper husbandry techniques and focus on taking better care of the reptiles you now own.You really shouldn't be trying to sell animals in that condition. It's great that you are interested in reptiles but you need to become more educated in their care first. You need alot more experience before you start trying to breed and sell any.I've kept reptiles for probably 18 years or so and I'm just now beginning to breed them with the intent of selling. There is alot to keeping and breeding reptiles that you need to learn.Get as many books, magazines, etc and study them .Then start out slow and keep a few animals. When you have had success keeping healthy animals for several years, then try breeding. For now just be a kid, have some pets, hang out with your friends, and STUDY your school books, especially english.Making a living breeding reptiles is not easy, most breeders have other careers firstly.Get ready for college and get a good career and breed on the side.If your breeding ever gets big enough to support you, great.Anyway I'm getting off my parenting soapbox now, hehe.

I just got this email.Ok I stand corrected on the savannah, though I swear I saw it in the monitor section but maybe not.Might have been another beggar I saw on a different forum. But as far as those leos not being skinny,I'll let everyone else be the judges. Just check his site.

um i never asked for a savanah moniter i dont want one either
and my leos each from my hand every week about 10 wax worms each and about 20 meal worms they are not skiny the pics were after she layed

Ok Here's my response then his.

Ok I may have been mistaken about the savannah but I stand by everything
else I wrote.ALL of those geckos are skinny and are having shedding
problems. You need to get your animals healthy before you try selling
them. Please get The Leopard Gecko Manual soon.
