    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is how my year is starting....

Just wanted to give an update. Well, she still hasn't dropped yet. I had projected by the end of feb, but she has proven me wrong. I lost my records when moving to the new house and just had to go from memory. As long as she has gone now I just don't know. I had remembered her last shed being in late Sept, early Oct, but I must be wrong. I have my records up to date now but have lost everything from September to December. We will see. She is huge, but seems to be shrinking down in size a little, which sometimes means she is getting close, as the babies absorb more of the yolk etc.

I don't think some of them read the book. I have one that went 135 days after her POS. I was a nervous wreck too. LOL

There are other books that say gestation can go from 90 to 180 days. Maybe there's something to that. ??

I have heard of boas going 8-9 months before they drop, I don't know the truth in that, or if it was in captivity or not. But, yes, I am a nervous wreck too. Atleast my out of state trip is over. :)

I totally forgot. Try spraying her with a water bottle if she's not used to being misted. And pray for rain!! Lots of female boas like to give birth during rain, whether it's the barometric pressure change or the idea that the baby fluid will wash away and the babies could not be tracked by predators as easily, no one's sure, but try spraying her if you don't have any rain scheduled for a while!! Let me know how it works for you!

I never thought of spraing her. I guess the worse thing that can happen is she can get just a little extra humidity huh, lol. I will try that tonight and let ya know.

Nope, just getting bigger. I found some records that show that I placed my super hypo male with her around the middle of nov off and in untill the middle of dec. She is scarying me how big she is getting. This better not be no world record birth or anything. I am prepared for UP TO 40 babies and thats it! lol. You guys will know when she does, I will have pictures plastered everywhere on here. Heck, it might be on the news.

Holy cow! Poor girl! That can't be comfortable. :ack2:

But it definitely looks like a promising clutch. :) Best of luck!

Here in az Jeremy... I always saw mine go the 8 month route my friend... Put your seat belts back on!! But, you will get a litter from that gal, bigger is better, then they thin, then they do 25 pre birth waxy stools and fake you out for a month or two via reverse contractions with tail lifted in corners of cage tillllll. She finds that perfect corner!! lol... I'll be lookin for this one's litter!! Love em big!!

Thanks for the support Tom. I had a female last year go 121 days with a full live litter of 24. I was hoping for the same this year. She hasn't had TOO many false "waxy" stools, but she did give me a strange stool last night. She has been lifting her tail and moving in tight "s" curve manuevers for awhile now, its driving me crazy. I promise all of you will know when she has them. Keep wishin me luck. I am estimating her to be at 105 days since her last shed. I had found a little documentation that she had her last shed in mid december. A little advise for EVERYONE out there. Keep records, of everything, and save it to a jump drive, not just your hard drive, lol. I lost all my records from end of last year because I didn't save to a jump drive.
