My name is Brandy. I was sent to this site from people on facebook when I started looking for a Red Blood python, so I signed up. After reading some of the BOI's I realized I had better introduce myself before I start posting, you guys seem like a pretty tight knit group lol.
So, a little about me... I have a house full - 5 boys (ages 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10). Between myself, the boys, and their dad, we have:
5.3 ball pythons- 1.1 normals, 0.1 cinnamon, 0.1 pastel, 1.0 mojave, 1.0 spider, 1.0 bumblebee, 1.0 yellowbelly,
1.1 Columbian Red Tail Boas- male is a hypo
2.0 burms- one normal one albino
I am so OCD I have EVERYBODY'S birth/hatch/came to live with us date written down in my calendar. And yes, there is some type of celebration for every member of my family :/ Please, don't judge me. I just really love birthday
All of our animals are pets, but we have recently starting talking about breeding more (snakes, that is... we're done with having kids). So it's nice to find a place beside facebook to come to ask questions and meet people that don't think we're crazy for having a dozen snakes in house.
At some point, my better half may make an account, and as we share a computer it will more than likely have the same IP as mine. As soon as I figure out how, I'll try to post pics of all my babies. Nice to meet everyone!
Oh, and I am still looking for a blood python. I really hate to sound picky, but I want to purchase one from a species specific breeder, but the only ones that I've found are morphs/hets... and while those are stunning as well, I really just want a regular Malaysian Blood... so any nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I'm not in any rush, we're in NC and the weather has been utterly bipolar, so I'd be more comfortable waiting until it warms up a little. Hopefully I'm not being too big of a pain
