In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

whats shocking to me and what i've learned a lot from this is more or less is about human nature. How your all wrong, and you believe your own lies. I went to a vet and he said it's the breeders fault. That there was nothing I could have done to make the snake like this. It just shows how silly human beings can be. How many vets do you want me to go too? It's really just funny. You all just jumped on one side with out even knowing the facts. Even when you see the video with your own eyes you still can't believe it. I guess thats just how humans can be. Popularity is no indication of the truth.

Thomas, to repeat my question, have you considered the possibility of bad food being the problem? Where did you purchase your feeders from?
I think this was touched on before but bad food could easily be a cause and would explain why the other snakes aren't experiencing it.

So let me get this straight. You have a snake for 20 days. It has ate for you 3 times if I am not mistaken. Then for some reason you force feed it water. Then all of a sudden you accuse Rob of being dishonest. Honestly I think it was caused by bad husbandry on your part. It doesn't have IBD. Seriously I think it a wobble that gets worse cause of stress and that is definitely what you are doing. Stressing it out. My opinion, Rob owes you nothing. So what did the vet say the snake have. Did he say what kind of tests he needs to have done? Or was it about the wobble and somehow it breeder fault a spider gene has a wobble?

"Popularity" has nothing to do with it. Rob has been calm and rational through all of this whereas you bad mouth him, bad mouth us, and then present us with sparse fragments of facts. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

My facts are pointless, you don't believe them anyway. Tomorrow a 3rd party someone with a DMV will present the facts to everyone. Hopefully you believe that. Otherwise your just ignorant and can't be helped.

Your vet cannot tell you what caused this, but if he told you that there is nothing you could have done to do it then he is the one that is wrong. I had a rack full of boas that I DID THIS TO. I did it overnight! I had taken a strip of heat tape off to replace it because it seemed like it wasn't getting as warm as the other rows. I didn't have boas on that level at the time so I just didn't replace it right away. What I didn't realize is that the probe for the rack was on that level. The tubs in the rack got extremely hot. I could feel the heat pour out when I opened the tubs. The boas seemed fine at first, and I did something stupid. Because they were hot to the touch, I put them in water to cool them off. Almost immediately they started twisting.

People are questioning you because the snake was (if not fine) at least able to eat one day, and in need of forced hydration the next. I have seen snakes that were neglected, and were not given water for months. As dehydrated as they were, they did not act like your snake.

We may never know if you caused the snake to be harmed, or if it is in fact something that was pre-existing.

To say that there is nothing you could have done is simply wrong, and any vet would know that. I would also expect one that used to breed ball pythons to understand the wobble of a spider. You said that the snake would probably need to be hydrated again, but that you would leave that up to the vet. How did they do it?

Lesson everyone should learn from this thread.
1)Health Guarantees should be given to allow just enough time for the buyer to have a snake seen by a vet.
2) Don't take snakes to the DMV for an exam.

Haha yea no snakes at the DMV

How about it, Thomas? You said you were interested in transparency. Short list of questions for the vet?

The vet ain't got time for your B.S.

It's an open and close case. There is so way you can get out of this. Just cooperate and send me your address to paypal.

Whats shocking to me and everyone else is how you Take this vets word as Gold and hold it as the truth. This vet is not qualified in snakes PERIOD, therefore if he/she said such statements should of told you your in for a ride.

Ive educated my vet in some areas of reptiles, as hes well versed in treating them but hes always learning. Hell he wants me to help design and setup a reptile room in his office building for reptiles that stay overnight for observations. This is what you call a vet that CARES
